Any tips on how to make it smooth and not lumpy? I have tried several recipes and methods to no avail. I won't use that processed velveeta stuff. Any tips or tricks? Please share!

Keep the temp. low and stir continiously- also add stuff a little at a time. If you stop stirring while you are trying to get the cheese to melt- or dump everything in and try and melt it all together it won't work.
