Scott and I are celebrating our 8th anniversary in a couple of weeks and we want to go to dinner somewhere that we wouldn't take Caden. Woohoo! Dinner without any "get in your chair, take a bite, don't spill that!". I won't know what to do... I might accidentally wipe Scott's mouth for him or something. :lol

Anyway... I was thinking about going to Roberto's out on Hwy 12. Anyone ever been there? I was also thinking about GTO in Sebastopol... any opinions?

Thanks!

Have a great anniversary. I have not been to either restaraunt, so I am no help.

My husband and I have gone to Roberto's for many special occasions. The food is very good, and I don't find it to be too expensive. Soup or salad is included with the meal, and there is a full bar and nice wine selection...
Hope that helps. Just my 2 cents, I like it....

I haven't had a dinner like that in a couple years myself so we haven't been to either one of them either :) I think the last nice place we went to was Lattitude in RP and none of us liked it.

Alaina was in a mood today so Salina was reminiscing about all the times we used to go out to dinner and how nice it would be to go again after the gypsies come for her little sister....

the hill top cafe is nice, it looks realyl cool at night! i like the cheese cake factory in SF because you can sit outside, i know that it is really cold but the view is AMAZING and they do have heaters!

Roberto's is awesome. Very reasonably priced - and a great wine list. If you are looking for something a little more personable and romantic - may I suggest Rubix on 4th street (right by the Grocery Outlet). Fantastic dinner specials, great prices and just like Roberto's salads are included.

We liked going to Rubix until I found a bug in my salad. They were pretty rude about it and did not refund any part of the meal (which every other place has done -- yes, it has happened more than once)

HTH!

Happy Anniversary! I have not been to either, so no help there. I love Olive Garden, Cattleman's, Applebees. Mmmmmm, now I am hungry and drooling!

We went to Cattleman's for my birthday, 20 days after my birthday. It is a bit pricey, but we like!

Have fun!
