When the news is only filled with tragedy and despair, it is just mind blowing to read a story like this!

That must be so great AND confusing for the family of the boy gone for 4 years. Although they held out hope, i'm sure they've probably done their grieving and have tried putting their life back together since his disappearance. Can you imagine the emotional toll this all has taken on their family? Lynette 01-13-2007, 11:27 AM Can you imagine the emotional toll this all has taken on their family? No, but that one line from the mom about being afraid to wake up and find out it is all a dream is probably how I would feel too. I wonder if they had other kids? I wonder if the kidnapper had him brainwashed or had to keep him locked up? I am assuming he kidnapped a new kid because the one he had was getting older. meeg124 01-13-2007, 11:58 AM One of the articles I read on the web said that older boy was seen doing regular activities with the kidnapper... they pitched a tent in the yard for a camp out. So sounds like he was definitely brainwashed... That his fantasy of the younger boy had been outgrown with that kid, so he was "replacing" him. becky 01-13-2007, 05:09 PM OMG what an emotiinal story. Reminds me of that real life TV movie called "I know my first name is Steven" of many many years ago. daisydoc 01-13-2007, 06:55 PM that is amazing! I hope they can all piece their lives back together. Lynette 01-13-2007, 07:41 PM OMG what an emotiinal story. Reminds me of that real life TV movie called "I know my first name is Steven" of many many years ago. Or that book that was made into a movie, I think the name had something to do with the ocean... |
