My husband is taking cable away

Are there any fans of 24 or LOST that anyone is willing/able to record it for me? I would be willing to provide the VHS or DVD cds if need be but i dont want to miss these shows at all. I'm a huge fan and have not missed one episode of either program since it first started.

I have seen all 3 seasons of LOST and who knows how many there are now of 24 but i havent missed that either.

That sucks- I could do VHS if I figure out how to do it. I can't do it to a DVD but I'm sure someone else on here probably can. Just another thought- you might be able to watch it via your computer. You know how after the show airs sometimes they'll say "watch it again free at abc.com" or something like that? Just a thought... Let me know if you want me to do it though. I can have Emanuel dig the VCR out of the closet. I haven't used it since I used to tape Sex and the City.

i don't watch either of those shows, and I can't record to DVD and our VHS is ghetto and i can't use it while the cable box is on (jr's had it since college, LOL!!!) so i'm SO not able to help here :(

Maybe you can't watch it online... at least not online. Fox's website looks like the just give you a narrative re-count of the episodes... :(

i forgot LOST is online. Ooh i can watch it there. As for 24 i dont know. I used to read the recaps online at work when i missed a show and then watch it when i could later in the week. I jsut could wait to watch my recording to find out what happened if i missed an episode of 24 for some reason.

Becky - when do they come on? I think I could record them for you. We haven't taped anything in years... being spoiled by the DVR :) but the VCR is still hooked up and working. Sometimes I think we should get rid of the cable and save some money but I just can't bring myself to do it.

I will have to look into that Megan. I know Victor has been telling me for over a year now to ditch cable but i wouldnt let him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he will change his mind but the chances are slim. I will look it up for 24 and LOST and get back to you.

I LOVE LOST!!! BUT.... we watch them by the season as they come out.... just waiting on season 3 to come out on netflix
