Can you tell how much I :love that place? :soapbox:rant TaivensMama 09-25-2009, 11:40 AM Wow, maybe we should let them know your longing for the pumpkin patch and see if they would be willing to keep it open year round, and preferably during the hours of 4-6, all in the name of love right? Brookepanda 09-25-2009, 11:41 AM Seriously, I really hope if there is a pumpkin patch playdate through SCM that NO ONE uses that freaking pumpkin patch! I am choking on my spit...:biglaugh that was a good one Susan! :love Christyn95 09-25-2009, 12:11 PM It's already open?? WOW! Time flies. I don't drive by that area every day like I used to for years, so haven't watched the corn grow while sitting in traffic. I'm with Whitney...PEOPLE..JUST DRIVE!!!!! We've been to that p-patch a few times (before Morgan), but we prefer going to Peter Pumpkin Patch out in Two Rock; however last year we changed it up a bit and took Morgan to the one on East Washington as suggested by his DCP (who suggested it after we were walking out of her place, just after we met her for the first time and were checking out her place :giggle). Can't wait to take Morgan out to get his pumpkin. Just hope he's in a better mood, since he was a stinker the last 2 years! :giggle PhreSpirit 09-25-2009, 12:34 PM last year dh and i went to the pumpkin patch on e. washington, and the year before we went to this one along 101. this year i think we're going to check out the tolay fall festival (http://www.sonoma-county.org/parks/pk_tolay_fallfestival.htm). surmick 09-25-2009, 01:28 PM We went to the one off Shiloh and it was okay. Probably will be better this year since Amelia can do so much more, but I think I want to hit the one off of Petaluma Hill Road instead. Or I may just hit them all!!!! Colleen&Kail 09-25-2009, 01:29 PM me too! im going to do the corn maze this wedesnday. i need to plan a paydate there or at the windsor one! howardvm 09-25-2009, 01:31 PM You ladies are cracking me up. Susan, when I see that sign up, I'm going to flip it off :lol surmick 09-25-2009, 01:35 PM You ladies are cracking me up. Susan, when I see that sign up, I'm going to flip it off :lol Then I will just put up the sign that says, "You see that lady pointing her finger and screaming at the pumpkin patch, yeah that one. She is Venessa and she loves getting hugs and told how pretty she is. Go on, give her a hug." It will be a big sign! lasmiley11 09-25-2009, 01:44 PM I'm so excited as well. Last year Lil Victor was in my stomach and now I will be able to take him. Even though he's still kind of young to understand what's happening, my husband and I will surely have fun since we have never been to one. :) lmfike 09-25-2009, 01:45 PM Our playgroup used to hit a diff pumpkin patch a week during Oct every year. We'll probably head out to the one in Two Rock next week(a friend works there and she just got back into town after being gone all summer). Brookepanda 09-25-2009, 01:56 PM Then I will just put up the sign that says, "You see that lady pointing her finger and screaming at the pumpkin patch, yeah that one. She is Venessa and she loves getting hugs and told how pretty she is. Go on, give her a hug." It will be a big sign! See Venessa....HUGS ARE FUN! http://www.gabbafriends.com/images/LHCOOLTRICK.png howardvm 09-25-2009, 02:57 PM Oh GAWD, Brooke, LOL! I can't believe that lady has become such a huge sensation! Lynette 09-25-2009, 06:23 PM How is that patch even open yet? When I drive by every day and slow down reeeeeeeally slow because pumpkins growing are just *fascinating* I noticed the plants still have flowers on them and I don't even see any pumpkins? Brookepanda 09-25-2009, 06:28 PM How is that patch even open yet? When I drive by every day and slow down reeeeeeeally slow because pumpkins growing are just *fascinating* I noticed the plants still have flowers on them and I don't even see any pumpkins? :giggle when *I* do that I make sure Venessas bus is behind me :lol Christyn95 09-25-2009, 06:50 PM Then I will just put up the sign that says, "You see that lady pointing her finger and screaming at the pumpkin patch, yeah that one. She is Venessa and she loves getting hugs and told how pretty she is. Go on, give her a hug." It will be a big sign! Great!!! Another big sign for people to slow down and read and cause even MORE traffic...like all those signs where they show Amber Alerts or tell you to Click it or Ticket, or ones telling you that a certain exit will be closed!! :lol One more reason to stop traffic!! Thanks Susan!! :biglaugh Go for it!! I don't travel down that way much!! hlebakos 09-25-2009, 07:35 PM How is that patch even open yet? When I drive by every day and slow down reeeeeeeally slow because pumpkins growing are just *fascinating* I noticed the plants still have flowers on them and I don't even see any pumpkins? I think they "import" them from other farms... So when it the playdate Colleen? Mrs. Andersen's (off Gossage?) in P-town has honey bees and a cute little tour. We used to take the Kindergartners there every year. VEry little kid friendly!:thumb My vote would be start time after 11 and book quick bc schools love her too, although with budget cuts.... we may get in. I am happy to arrange it, let me know, PM me if you want. howardvm 09-25-2009, 07:43 PM :giggle when *I* do that I make sure Venessas bus is behind me :lol Oh Brooke, Brooke, Brooke, Brooke, Brooke... I knew there was a reason I liked you! :tongue Leigh 09-26-2009, 09:37 AM W T H !! Who is that? WHAT is that?! See Venessa....HUGS ARE FUN! http://www.gabbafriends.com/images/LHCOOLTRICK.png Lynette 09-26-2009, 09:40 AM It's Leslie from Yo Gabba Gabba :D Glitter hands glitter hands! Razzle dazzle! Christyn95 09-26-2009, 12:28 PM It's Leslie from Yo Gabba Gabba :D Glitter hands glitter hands! Razzle dazzle! Ohhhhh. I saw that episode (unfortunately..:giggle) Is she famous, like would we know her from somewhere elise besides YGG? Since Jack Black and other celebrities have been on there. howardvm 09-26-2009, 12:54 PM Ohhhhh. I saw that episode (unfortunately..:giggle) Is she famous, like would we know her from somewhere elise besides YGG? Since Jack Black and other celebrities have been on there. She's actually got a huge cult following. She has a museum in a trailer at her house (she still lives with her parents). She does gay wedding packages for $100 or something that includes a couple songs, a cake from the grocery store or something, and the service. I really am surprised that she's found such a large following. They had an article about her on CNN, and I was so surprised! Lynette 09-26-2009, 12:58 PM She kind of reminds me of Ms. Yvonne from Peewee's Playhouse when I was a kid that they called "The Most Beautiful Lady in the World" :lol MamaLaura 09-27-2009, 11:42 AM I think they "import" them from other farms... VEry little kid friendly!:thumb My vote would be start time after 11 and book quick bc schools love her too, although with budget cuts.... we may get in. I am happy to arrange it, let me know, PM me if you want. :yeah They bring them in from other places. |
