Anyone out there know of a really cool pumpkin farm in Seb. but it was in the "country" part, maybe towards.... forestville area? I went there several yrs. ago, but they had tractor rides, clean animals, yummy homemade food, etc..... I would love to take B&B there.

That sounds like Muelrath, perhaps...

They are on Todd just east of the intersection of Todd and Llano.

Otherwise, the farms on Bodega Ave west of Sebastopol might be the one you remember: Anderson's or Ryan O'Shannan

"Everything" else is in Petaluma!

I love Muelrath... it doesn't have everything that some of the bigger pumpkin patches do, like Adobe or Tolay but I like that it's small (easier to keep track of Caden) and it feels more personable. Last year, they had Harvest Moon in the pumpkin patch (or something like that) and we had so much fun doing that. I see on their website that this year they are doing the night hayrides, cowboy singing, etc every Friday in October. We'll definitely be going to one of those!

THanks, I don't think that is the one I was thinking of, but I think I will check that one out this year!;) The one I am thinking of might have gone out of business over the yrs., it was a while ago that I went. I want to say it was off of River Road.

Tolay in Petaluma is SUPER COOL! It is only open for 2 weekends. Only $5 for parking, unless you have a Sonoma park pass. That one I go again and again!

DH grew up out there with a family friend, he will probably grumble that he has to "follow the rules." I would like to check this one out, thanks for the info.

Caty and her class are going to Ryan O'Shannon and I can't go cause of work.

Anyone notice this year that patches opened like overnight? I think it's sad that we even have to ship in pumpkins. I wonder where they all are coming from. I know of one real farm that has had theirs growing now for awhile--and the pumpkins are still so small.

Mo's class is going to Tolay on Thursday. I'm hoping to go with them. Haven't been there since it was Cardozas (and yes Jenny, it will be interesting to see the changes)

There was one that was on that back wine country road between Guerneville and Healdsburg, for some reason the name is escaping me. Anyway, it was a big fun pumpkin patch with hay rides and cider and stuff, it turned into a winery.
