I have a Celebrating Adoption session tomorrow and the family is coming up from Fremont (about 2 hours) so I want to make sure I find something nice/special for them. Any suggestions?

I would like to find some place other than Julliard Park, Luther Burbank or SSU cuz the family really would like to find something different and more unique than the traditional park like setting :dunno

I'd say take them to the geyserville inn...but that's another 40 minutes worth of driving :dunno

What about Downtown Healdsburg? you have the shops the streets and don't they have a gazebo? Or is that Windsor?

What about somewhere in Petaluma? Maybe the Old Adobe? That's near a golf course too.
Also the waterfront area is fun. The West side of the river.

Howarth and Spring Lake is totally out until I can get a permit. The rangers are like hawks these days and are busting photographers big time :( Actually I take that back, Hawarth should be okay since its a park but Spring Lake is out for now :(

I just recently found out how strict the rangers are getting these days at the state parks so I can't go to the state/county parks until I get permits for each one and they take FOREVER

I did call Geyserville Inn today and they said I can come up so I will talk to my family when they come in tomorrow and see if they are up for the drive north

no i am not talking about the parking pass I am talking about the actual permit to photograph at the park as a professional. You have to get one every 6 months for every park (like Foothill Park, Spring Lake, Riverfront Park)
