I see there is a list of parks but when I click on the thread there isnt an actual list. What are the good, safe parks in RP for toddlers? I live by Pacific Market but will drive for a good park.
Thanks!

We like Alicia Park on Arlen Drive and Helen Putnam Park on Myrtle Ave.

We like Alicia Park on Arlen Drive and Helen Putnam Park on Myrtle Ave.
Those are our favorites too :) My only peeve with Alicia is that a group of either homeless or jobless people get together almost every day to hang out at some picnic tables a few hundred feet away from the playground and they can get kind of loud sometimes. They are older and play checkers or something but some of them seem to be drinking but they have never bothered anyone at the park and like I said, they sit pretty far away. Other than that, they are the two best play structure in my oldest's opinion :)
Helen Putnum is safe unless dogs freak you out because there is a dog park in the far corner and people are not always keeping their dogs on lease until they get back to the corner or they run them in the field by the parking lot. They have bathrooms there that actually have paper in them unlike A park above and we never run into punk kids or anything there.
Otherwise, H park by your house is almost non-existent, the toddler section at Golis up by you is not very good, but there is a brand new play structure at S park right on Snyder across the street from Medical Center Drive. My oldest says she likes the other two better but it is fairly nearby for you :) D park isn't too far away but I can't remember what the structure is like, older wood and metal if I remember and then E park is right by Evergreen Elementary down Emily Ave. There are more in RP but not as close to where you live :)

I like Helen in Cotati, and Sunrise in RP.
I'm looking here at a paper map from AAA.
It shows a Tot Lot on Burton Ave. Guess we should check that one out.
There is also the Hub of Cotati, they have baby swings and a play structure.
Rainbow Park looks nice from the drive-by.

D Park is under construction! We live by there and the girls went to play tennis and I saw it was all roped off. Most of the sand was gone so I am really hoping they are finally remodeling it!! I like A park too but like to go with a group vs. alone. :)

Cool! They seem to be doing one at a time and just finished S so looks like D is underway :)
