I have that nasty, nasty cold that is going around in full force... and I have been trying to manage the pain with cough syrup and tylenol and as you can imagine- it's been a total joke! My migraines are so bad they make me dizzy and I see spots...
Anyone know anything I can do to make myself feel better? (besides rest because I really can't seeing that Baby E has been running a fever for 3 days and he and I have the same crap!)

When I was sick I took Advil just because Tylenol is freakin' snake oil IMO. Also there have been studies that cough medicine doesn't work and cough drops work just as well as hard candy because they keep the saliva going whish is what keeps the tickle at bay so we use those Riccola drops which is technically herb candy. Otherwise, I just don't take anything and just drink lots of water, no dairy or sugar, and plenty of protein.

I found this site to be very helpful when I was still nursing www.kellymom.com

Lots of Vit C, echinacea, and yin chao (a chinese herb). All of which are BFing friendly.

Garlic seems to help me too. It might not smell too good but boy does it help!

Kellymom is awesome!
Sudafed is an L-3 and is ok to take when you're really, really miserable. You have to be careful as it can decrease your supply (I usually take it with a galactogue) but it's fine to take occasionally. It never bothered either of my kids.
