Baby Peek Media announces the date for the “MY BABY EXPO”

Prenatal Peek and Wee Three Children’s Store are proud to present the “MY BABY EXPO” coming to the Wells Fargo Center March 24th, 2006 from 10am to 4pm. Join 65+ vendors and participants who will be displaying, selling, and showcasing products and services perfect for new families.

The “My Baby Expo” will hold an exhibition with a wonderful variety of non-profit services, charitable organizations, aimed at helping young families, and retail vendors who will be showcasing their wears. MBX will be donating a percentage of the $5 admission to “The Living Room” in Santa Rosa.

Be one of the first 100 pregnant moms and you will receive a special grab bag full of goodies that will help you in your adventure to becoming a mom. For the first 2000 attendees, the Exchange Bank Grab Bag will be yours with paid admission.

I might be interested in sharing a booth with someone, I am going to be selling cloth diapers soon. NFB is giving up its home party aspect so I am going to be venturing out on my own I think.

it is march 24 in case it doesn't say (that's when the vendor sign up to be there so I'll assume it is the same :lol)

Yes, it's on Saturday March 24. All the "vendors" that will be there have something to offer families from prenatal - pre school. It's going to be a great way to gather resources! They are only allowing a couple "vendors" per "category" (ie: 2-3 photographers; 2-3 fitness venues; 2-3 midwives, etc... you get the point;))

Yeah!! MaBelleLune Pregnancy Resource Directory will be there (that's the new business I've been working on.) :woohoo

We have a booth and we will be handing out resource directories and pens :) We're really looking forward to it! I think it will be a good opprotunity to pich to other vendors too.

I've never done a booth at anything before so it's been fun thinking about how we're going to decorate it.

Francine from Prima Bella (check out her website primabella.com - she has the most amazing pregnant belly scuptures...the cost $$$$$, but they are beautiful to look at,) is going to let us use some of her sculptures and I think I'm going to frame some of my prenatal pictures and hang them...ohh this will be so fun!!

I'd love to say we could we could share with you Lisa - I really hope cloth diapers are represented there! - But we are alreading sharing with our Doula group :(

THat is very exciting....i have a question fo ryou though....considering there is a chance i may not be able to make it becuaes the little one will still be too young to be out in public, i wanted to how else i might get a copy of your directory. I'm so excited to check it out.

Stacy, can you remind me again when you will do another printing? It figures just as I am venturing into something new (or some things actually) you'd already be in print :)

I think the directory is a once a year thing if i remember correctly.

We are actually doing a second print in June(ish.) And from that point on do 6 month contracts, so it will be semi annual afterall. Everyone who signed up for this print is on a 1 year contract and will be included in the second print with no additional charge - and then when January rolls around again - 6 month contracts for everyone :thumb- Does that make sense?

Awesome, and totally makes sense! So I have about 4/5 months to get things together and get whatever stationary/weblinks made up and sent in to be included next time! That is just perfect, not to close that I feel rushed to scurry and get stuff together (possibly slopally) and not too far away that whatever fire and passion I had for my endevours is completely burnt out by the time the next oppurtunity to be included arises.

Truthfully, we've been so busy trying to get this issue out that we haven't talked too much about all the details of the next print. I'm sure that option will be available - but as far as pricing goes, I have no idea at this point. All of our prices are going to have to change because we are swiching to a semi-annual, so we have to re-write our contracts and everything. After this directory is out, that will be the next step. So hopefully I'll have an answer for you soon :)
We are also going to start on a Marin County issue that will be printed in
June(ish) also - So I'm hoping this Expo will be a good way to make some new contacts :fingerscrossed

BTW - this WAHM stuff is ALOT harder than I imagined it :shake

I noticed in Feb Family Life magazine that Wee Peats is having their big clothing sale at the same time(or at least part of it)as the My Baby Expo 2007

Isn't the Wee Peats event from Wee Three Childrens Store? I think they call it Wee Peats becuase they are second hand clothes at this sale. It is on Friday and Saturday, but if you come on Saturday you can stop by the vendor booths as well on the inside! (hint hint since I will be one of them!) March 24 at Wells Fargo Center!
