FYI, I called the business about the age suggestion and they said no problem for my 21 month old twins, since I would be doing most of the work. They could just pick out colors, etc..

So to answer your question Megan, we didn't get out of the house bc I got caught up in x-mas cards, laundry, getting my dad's room ready since he will be here to visit next week, and cranky babes. I am going try to do it tomorrow, same time, 1-3. I am hoping to bring two of my jr. high students that I tutor so that they could make one for their parents.

I will let you know how it goes if I make it!

Thanks. I will try and get down there with my boys. I think it would make a cute gift for my parents and in-laws.

I was there today from 1:30-2:30. I brought one of my students (an 8th grader) and he enjoyed it. I wish I only had one babe bc keeping Billy in the stroller as Brianna "helped" me was a chore, then switching the gremlins was something to be seen and not heard, iykwim. I will try to post pics after I pick up the fired ornaments on Monday. .

It was a lot like decorating cookies, minus the edible part. You select a flat glass ornament, (we did trees) watch a quick demo from the owner (Landon, kind of a dry guy, but nice,) and then begin. We painted on glue then sprinkled on colored glass. I hope they turn out festive.

Hey ladies! We picked up our ornaments today and they turned out better than I thought they would. I will try to post pics later. I would recommend doing this if you have the time and a 5+ older kid.

One word of caution: Be careful bc they aren't wrapped in tissue paper and my student's broke when he wasn't careful with it. WE are going back on Thurs. to do another batch bc he was pretty upset.

Here are the pics. Not the best quality, but you get the idea.
