View Full Version : Kid spider bite
I'm pretty sure Mia has a spider bite on her back. She woke up a few days ago with a red bump on her back that didn't look like a mosquito or flea bite. I've been watching it for the past few days and it is still there, getting a bit bigger and has a hard middle. She says it doesn't bother her, but I am still keeping an eye on it. We have a huge infestation of spiders that I've never seen before (like the one I share the pic of). Here is a link to a few pics of the bite:

yep. i think the hard center is what is the most identifiable. poor kid! does it bother her?
No, but I am freaked out because I think the spiders we have are called Hobo spiders and the bites blister and can take months to heal. It hasn't broken though, so that is a good sign. If it gets worse I am going to take her into the doc.

Yuck. The thought of creepy crawlies munching on our munchkins makes my skin crawl. Hope it heals up fast!

Yeah, that looks just like what I had on my arm a couple of months ago. It itched though after a few days and the bump took about 2 weeks to go away. I hope it continues to not bother her!
