OMG this cold thing SUCKS!

All three of us have this horrible cold. Its been two weeks now and we are still hacking away. Ava couldn't breathe through her nose last night and of course won't give up her pacifier so we were up ALL NIGHT. Well, I was up all night. I had to wake up at 5am this morning to go to work and Dustin stays home today. He just tones her out and lets her whine for like an hour before he will get up and do anything about it. In the meantime, Im awake because I sleep light. So I get up every hour to use the bulb syringe on her nose and prop her up in our bed so she can breathe. I am so tired... Im on cup #2 of coffee and I still dont know how Im going to make it until 3pm.

IT's not just Dustin... It's a man thing! They all do that! So just know your'e not alone. When men get sick they become an extra child! And they are worse than your real kids :rolleyes Sorry you're all sick! :( That's not fun at all.

We're in the SAME boat... This is the worst cold I have EVER EVER had. I've been so miserable and my baby has been at the dr. 3x this week because they want to keep following up with him to make sure his cold doesn't turn into pneumonia. :(

After night two of not sleeping Dustin and I figured it out last night. Apparently this cold affects your brain function because we stupidly overlooked the fact that her top two teeth are finally coming in. We gave her some motrin before bed last night and she slept like a baby. I can't believe we didn't think of that two nights ago!! :duh

Eh... What are ya gonna do... There certainly IS a nasty cold going around. Honestly I'd probably say you are lucky it's teeth because the cold includes migraines and hacking to hard you feel like you are going to see your pants.

Oh dont get me wrong, we still all have colds but the hacking isnt what was keeping her awake the teeth were. How long have you had this cold?? It's past 2 weeks now with no letting up!

We had it for about 2 weeks... and the only thing left is sinus pain and migraines. We've been cleared by our docs that we are no longer contagious though. Just as me and my little guy are getting over it... my husband it getting it. Why is it that he is telling me that I need to make him food, bring him pillows, rub his head, etc? He didn't do that for me and I felt like total dogs*it too!

Men are so annoying sometimes. They want to be pampered yet we dont get that when we are sick. Its not fair.

OMG Dustin is such a baby when he's sick. I had the cold before him too and I sucked it up and did my normal chores, etc. He has the cold while Ava and I still have it and all he does is lay on the couch. Ava is making a huge mess while I am making dinner but he is too sick to even get up and tell her no. Jackass!

I guess I am a little bitchy today. All of my posts seem to be complaints :tongue

omg i have it too! i had ot leave work on sat. because i thought i was going ot puke in the bathroom! now i think kail is gettig it too! poor baby....he woke up 2 times last night and was fudding around.

Oh Colleen :hug That sucks... As I mentioned Baby E was at the ped's office M-W-F last week.... it's a bad one. Hopefully you don't have the strain that me at everyone at my job got! It's a nasty one. Let me know if you need anything!
