Today we added a fun new feature.
Since a lot of people register for the site not really knowing anyone, they tend to choose names that aren't too personal (so as to not divulge too much personal information online) and then later with their screen name said a little more about themselves.
If you decide that you would like to keep your screen name but want to include either your real name, or a nickname on your posts, you can now do it!

Simply go to USER CP (http://www.sonomacountymom.com/forum/usercp.php)
Go to EDIT PROFILE (http://www.sonomacountymom.com/forum/profile.php?do=editprofile)
Scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says:
<fieldset class="fieldset"><legend><label for="ctb_field9">Nickname/ AKA:</label></legend> <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="3" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td>Add your Nickname/ Real / AKA name under your username in posts.</td></tr></tbody></table></fieldset>And input the information you want included. It will then show under your avatar :)

well now I need a nickname then since we already have another Lisa ;) I was already getting confused when Becky asked "about the baby" today and was refering to the other Lisa.

Cool! I am beyond on terrible with names, I tend to remember people's kids and their pet's names before theirs :bag and when there aren't signatures I just get all confused!

yeah, i like when people use their real names for their usernames, but not everyone is comfortable with that, and we can't all do that (ie. we have 2 lisa's), so this is like the next best thing :)

Cool! I actually thought about asking you how to change my user name a while back. That is exactly why I picked "Brianna'sMommy" cuz I didn't know who would be here and I didn't want to "put myself out there" in case the site was unsafe. Now I know there's nothing to worry about and I don't mind everyone knowing me!
