i am a single mom so money is pretty limited so this year for our friends i took the letters in their name and made poems attached to Logans art work or pics of Logan and am giving them that i tried to make a calendar but sadly it didnt turn out what crafty ideas do you mommas do when money is tight? So many people have touched me and my daughters life and we just want to let them know how much we love and appreciate them.

I just delivered a plate full of home made rocky road fudge to the neighbors :thumb
I typically bake in situations where I want to show appreciation for someone...

At Michaels They had foam snowflakes and winter foam decorations. I had Taylor make them yesterday and I decided to make them window hangers. They are so cute! I bought suction cup hangers and threw 3 in a large treat bag for each person. It was inexpensive and everyone is going to love them because she made them :). Here is a pic I took of the ones I put up in my office.

Brooke ... you know where i live and i have made it no secret that i love sweets hint hint nudge nudge lol. Sadly, I am actually trying to cut down on my sugar intake this time of year since i am still recovering from Halloween. But I may take up baking cause i know whenever someone bakes for me I do feel like it is very special.
Kim that is a cute idea maybe we will try that next year.

I bake little loafs of banana bread and give those who we are close to at church. For John's work I make a big loaf and then cookies, fudge, peppermint bark, etc. For her neighbors I will do a little loaf and then a bunch of goodies. Alot of people appreciate as they don't bake and it's something they can use.

There were some really cute ideas on the Regis & Kelly show for kids artwork, pictures, etc. Check out the website.
This year I had my kids sign and hand out cards. It's a simple inexpensive project that is also helping form good habits. Our food gift of choice seems to be chocolate dipped, christmas sprinkled pretzel rods.

This year I'm getting 4 by 6 prints of P and putting it in inexpensive frames.
