SCM Biggest Loser Challenge #6!!
This is a great way to lose weight and keep each other motivated! We had some recent requests to do it without the money aspect so we'll try that this time. Maybe we'll get more competitors...

HOW TO ENTER
1. Post a reply to this official thread.
2. After you’ve posted, I will add you to the “Competitor’s List”, be sure to check it to make sure your name is there.
3. On Mon. January 4th, send your starting weight picture to webmaster@sonomacountymom.com. Use the subject line "Starting Weight~ username". This is a picture of your scale with you standing on it so I can see your starting weight (make sure weight is readable) and then on the final weigh in day another picture of you standing on your scale so I can see your final weight. I will also do a few picture checks throughout the competition. This is to ensure everyone is giving correct weights.
4. With your starting weight you need to e-mail the measurement of the largest part of your stomach. We will also be counting inches this round.
BEFORE PICS ARE OPTIONAL, BUT A GOOD MOTIVATOR. YOU ARE WELCOME TO TAKE THE PIC AND HOLD ONTO IT INSTEAD OF SENDING IT IN.
RULES
1. You must be a active member of SCM
2. You must be honest about your weigh-ins
3. You can choose any weight loss diet, except for anything requiring surgery. This includes weight loss surgery such as lapbands, gastric bypass, etc. SCM will not be responsible if in this process you actually gain weight or if you lose too much weight. Choose your program wisely.
4. Pregnant members are not eligible to enter.
5. Weigh-Ins will be every Monday. You must weigh-in EVERY week and your weights MUST be received by midnight (CA time) of weigh-in day. If you miss two consecutive weigh ins, you will be disqualified. Please send your new weight each week to webmaster@sonomacountymom.com with the subject "Date ~ Screename" (for example July 20 ~ Sara). I will compile a percentage lost chart every week after I get everyone’s numbers. Percentages will be posted NO SOONER than the following afternoon. ALL members must submit weights on the first and final weeks or they will be immediate disqualified.
6. The best way to weigh yourself is with no or minimal clothing. If you MUST wear clothes, we suggest wearing the same thing every time. Also weigh yourself at the same time everyday for the most accurate numbers.
7. Pictures can be taken as often as you would like. The main pictures I am concerned about are before and afters and the random scale checks.
8. On the final weigh-in day (March 1st) you MUST have your final weights sent to me by midnight California time in order to qualify.
9. I will announce the winner by Thursday, March 4th.
10. Calculations are based on % lost per week and as a whole. The % is calculated by dividing the amount of weight lost by the weight at the start of the week/over the whole competition. ie: Start of the week 155, weigh in 150. 5/155=.032 or 3.2%

Under Miscellaneous go to Group Memberships
Then click to join the Biggest Loser Competition
Only members of the competition will be admitted access to the group.
PLEASE request access to this forum prior to the first weigh in.
HOW YOU WIN
The competitor who loses the biggest percentage of weight will be crowned the SCM BIGGEST LOSER Challenge 5! In case of a tie, the competition will go on for those that have tied for one more week and the person who loses the highest percentage FOR THAT WEEK ONLY will be the winner.
