dh did this right before our wedding. I thought it was "'eh". It seemed to consist mostly of working out in saran wrap iirc :lol with some massage I think.

I had one right before my wedding too... Technically I lost inches but it wasn't noticable in my clothes or anything. They measure you before and after in like 1000 places. Then you get wrapped up like a mummy and they soak you with solution and bag your hands and feet. Then you exercise and "sweat." I think if you were going to do it you would have to be more in the mind frame of losing the toxins than the inches. Then if you *do* lose inches, it's more of a bonus.

Hmmm. Yeah, I guess I did feel refreshed... not $165 refreshed though! LOL But then again, I'm a tight@ss. ;)

I love massages and was thinking about getting one of those too.

I'm a little leary of a mudbath b/c I have really weirdly sensitive skin... i'm allergic to most detergents, including FREE detergents, i'm allergic to all metals other than gold, etc, et, etc... and i'm worried the mud may make me break out?

now the inches you lost did they stay off or was it more like you lost inches becuase of say maybe fluid loss from all the sweating.

i'd say most is water weight. Like Marisa said they measure like 17 bazillion areas so it isn't nessasarily noticable loss in any one spot. But now that I am more holistic the idea of a detox (assuming it does detox ya) sounds good vs. caring about the "inches lost"
