View Full Version : body wraps? CMT 01-31-2007, 10:10 AM I'm seriuosly thinking about doing this... http://www.goldenhaven.com/european_body_wrap.html anyone wanna go with me? Kellie_MO5 01-31-2007, 10:18 AM that looks cool Mom of 2 01-31-2007, 10:23 AM that looks really neat. Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler My3sonsplus1 01-31-2007, 10:27 AM dh did this right before our wedding. I thought it was "'eh". It seemed to consist mostly of working out in saran wrap iirc :lol with some massage I think. Marisa 01-31-2007, 01:16 PM I had one right before my wedding too... Technically I lost inches but it wasn't noticable in my clothes or anything. They measure you before and after in like 1000 places. Then you get wrapped up like a mummy and they soak you with solution and bag your hands and feet. Then you exercise and "sweat." I think if you were going to do it you would have to be more in the mind frame of losing the toxins than the inches. Then if you *do* lose inches, it's more of a bonus. CMT 01-31-2007, 01:22 PM did you feel better after it? (meaning the toxins being gone etc)? Did your skin feel better? refreshed? Marisa 01-31-2007, 01:30 PM Hmmm. Yeah, I guess I did feel refreshed... not $165 refreshed though! LOL But then again, I'm a tight@ss. ;) I'd rather do a mudbath and massage!!! CMT 01-31-2007, 01:36 PM LOL I love massages and was thinking about getting one of those too. I'm a little leary of a mudbath b/c I have really weirdly sensitive skin... i'm allergic to most detergents, including FREE detergents, i'm allergic to all metals other than gold, etc, et, etc... and i'm worried the mud may make me break out? Marisa 01-31-2007, 02:41 PM Mmmm. Yeah... have to say that would suck! But a massage is ALWAYS nice! becky 01-31-2007, 05:39 PM now the inches you lost did they stay off or was it more like you lost inches becuase of say maybe fluid loss from all the sweating. My3sonsplus1 01-31-2007, 05:54 PM i'd say most is water weight. Like Marisa said they measure like 17 bazillion areas so it isn't nessasarily noticable loss in any one spot. But now that I am more holistic the idea of a detox (assuming it does detox ya) sounds good vs. caring about the "inches lost" Colleen&Kail 01-31-2007, 07:59 PM o if anyone goes to get a massage i will go too! i have a gc that i got a xmas i have to look where it is for tho vbut i knw it is in sr. CMT 01-31-2007, 08:12 PM colleen: find out where the GC is for and we'll go together. I think I've given up on the wrap thing. Colleen&Kail 01-31-2007, 08:15 PM it is at avanti day spa! o im so excited! CMT 01-31-2007, 08:50 PM ooh! i looked at them online today. Okay, I'm telling JR that's what I want for valentines day :) Colleen&Kail 01-31-2007, 10:12 PM ok cool i will wait for you to get your present then...lol i have a 60 min massage and a 45 min. one but they are two diffrerent kinds i think. CMT 01-31-2007, 10:20 PM what kind is your 60min? I asked jr for a 60min swedish KaisaG 02-10-2007, 09:34 PM Colleen is that the one Valora got Kathy and she gave to you??
