We're getting new living room furniture but are having a hard time finding anything we like in our price range. We've been to Valley Furniture, Ashley, Jennifer Convertibles, JC Penney, BigLots (we may go to the one in Vacaville because they have a bigger furniture selection), Furniture 21, Furniture City, Piner Furniture, and a couple other random places on Industrial. Is there anywhere else we're missing?

Not sure what taste in furniture you have but I love Ikea's prices. The store is absolutely insane but if you can get through it you get some great deals~

Their furniture style can be kind of specific :) We ended up getting ours @ Ashley on sale. What kind are you looking for & I'll keep my eye out for sales...

There is a furniture place in the Santa Rosa plaza. I think in February that they have presidents day sales at most places.

Macy's has really nice furniture and although their stuff is expensive, they have great sales and it's good quality!

We're looking at getting a sofa and recliner, possibly a loveseat instead of the recliner. We want comfy, kind of the overstuffed style in earthtones. We are trying to find both for under $750ish. We found one set at Furniture City that we kind of liked, but it was on closeout and we can't actually buy it for a couple of weeks when we get our tax return, so it will probably be gone by then. From what we see we also like these from BigLots, but we'd have to drive to Vacaville, and we'd hate to drive all the way out there and then end up not liking them. Though if we did that we may be able to find another store out there that had something we like. :dunno

Have you looked on craigslist? I have seen a lot of ads on there for furniture stores with their deals for the week.

Have you tried Scandanivian Designs? We got a great deal on two chairs and ottomans there.

We've found a few things at Santa Rosa Furniture Depot and their sister store next door.(In Railroad Square). There is also Lazy Boy Furniture, Scandinavian Designs, United Furniture (on Airway Dr), Ikea, etc.

Good luck! :)

:yeah stuff is always on sale there.

Also there is this place in Healdsburg that sells discount furniture, I think they are an Ashely dealer but sell other stuff too. I think if you don't have something totally specific in mind you might find a bargain there.

I got a piece from them that I like and has held up to Logan 6m-3 years with no shown wear thus far.

When you walk out of Macy's downstairs it's on your right hand side.

I thought of a few more:
Texas Furniture on Sebastopl Road
Cost Plus
Old Town Furniture (are they still open?)
Furniture 2000 on Mendocino Ave

Hey Danielle, Have you ever been to the Healdsburg Outlet?? They have EVERYTHING that Costco doesn't sell, and they always have furniture. I have always seen pretty nice looking pieces of furniture! It might be worth to check it out!

Oooh, didn't know about that. They have CostLess in RP (next to CalSkate) which is the same thing as Healdsburg Outlet apparently! They normally have a few pieces of furniture.

That's my boyfriend's store. Even if you don't see anything in the store that works for your taste and price range you can look through the catalogs. He is there most of the time, his name is Ralph.

Buy the best quality you can if this is a room you use every day. Go with a solid easy to clean fabric or leather.

Don't buy a couch from Ikea. I love Ikea but the couch we bought there is absolute crap and really uncomfortable.
