We are hiring at My Gym Children's Fitness Center in Santa Rosa.

Must love kids, have tons of energy and be friendly and outgoing. This is a fun job for someone who wants to have a positive influence in children's lives.

Hours vary but usually 15-30 per week. The schedules offered usually work well for college students or moms with kids in elementary school but of course we are an equal opportunity employer and will accept applications from anyone!

We prefer that applicants have experience in dance, gymnastics, theater, sports, childhood development, childcare, preschool teaching, etc.

If you or someone you know are interested please contact me.

Thank you,

Lorna Brown

I'm going to send this to my SIL. She wants to be a preschool teacher... she's taking classes at the JC and currently works for the Airport Club in the daycare.

colleen: We are starting Brendan back up this month with some of the money from our tax return (possibly sooner)
It's now $60 a month (goes up to $61 a month when they switch to 1 hr classes) and you go to 1 class and 1 freeplay a week, but i BELIEVE with the new monthly payments, you can go as many times as you want per week.
Brendan LOVED IT and he started around 10 or 11 months.

They had the open house last week Colleen- I have the papers at home with fees and class schedules. Or you can check it all out online. Plus I have acoupon for $10 off if you want it. I decided not to sign Baby Eman up because I'd prefer to wait until he was more mobile and can actually take advantage of the gym aspect of it.

the regular classes are 1 hr i believe and you go in, and they play for a few minutes. Then you do circle time where they sing and dance and do "warmups" of sorts. Then they have "stations" where they can hang on the bars and tumble and stuff. Then they have time to just roam the gym. Then they have indepentent play time where the parents aren't involved and there are TONS of toys out for them to play with.
Each class is age specific so his class would be just his age group and they do things based on the typical abilities of the age group.
Like I said, I started B around 10months, so i THINK he would have been in the age group up from kail at the time, but he could also walk at the time so he pretty much just ran around and checked everything out.
I *really* helped with his separation anxiety (I can't stress enough how much of an impact it made on him)

I have to say:
My Gym helped Victoria become more mobile!
She wasn't crawling, but by watching the other kids crawl and walk around, made her want to do what the other kids were doing.
By the end of 8 weeks, she was crawling!!!
