I just cant figure out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to knit a cable scarf for Ava. When I am purling it looks like two rows of purling, one knitting, two purling and so on. Where is the knitting row coming from?? I went to knittinghelp.com and several others. I watched the videos and I appear to be doing everything right. What am I doing wrong?? I have purled before and didnt have this problem. Should I be purling the right side and knitting the wrong side to avoid the line?? I am so lost. Please help! :pullhair
Are you left handed? I've heard from my left handed friends that their knits will look like my purls...
Um, other than that I don't know what to tell you. I'd be happy to come and watch you to see if I can figure out what it is you're doing wrong. I'll be in RP on Tuesday.

No, not left handed. I ended up just purling on the right side and knitting on the wrong side (stockenette) because I didnt know what to do. THanks for offering to come help me. I work on Tuesdays :( . Thanks again!
