We went to that Leghorn park in Petaluma today. That is such a nice park! Ava had so much fun. She and Dustin were running up and down the slides. It was very nice.

She and Dustin were running up and down the slides. It was very nice. Mom of 2 02-03-2007, 07:09 PM We go there often. if you would ever like to meet up and have a playdate, we would certainly like to. Patty loves to go down the slides, and Tyler tries to keep up... Kate Mom to Paty and Tyler LMS 02-03-2007, 07:13 PM where is this at? I've never heard of it Mom of 2 02-03-2007, 07:18 PM It on Sonoma Mountain Parkway. Its next to G and G shopping and the SR Junior College- Petaluma Campus. Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler Mom of 2 02-03-2007, 07:20 PM They have tennis courts too and picnic tables. Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler Luckylove 02-03-2007, 07:21 PM I would love to meet you there. Ava is much younger then Patty but I am sure they would have fun. Im free on Wednesdays and Sundays. This wednesday I have a doctors appointment at 10am though. Let me know when you're free! Mom of 2 02-03-2007, 07:25 PM I'm usually free on Wednesdays, but not this week. Tyler is a little older than Ava(he will be 19 months on the 6th of Feb), but both of my kids can play with older or younger kids, so age is no big deal. Are mornings or afternoons better for you? Morning might be better only cause afternoons there tends to be the big kids that come around 2PM or so and can cause some problems. Plus, my kids both tend to nap afternoons if I am lucky. But what works for you and we can work around it. Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler Luckylove 02-03-2007, 07:28 PM Ava tends to nap around noon or one so mornings would be good. Maybe around 9:30 or 10? How about wednesday the 14th? Lynette 02-03-2007, 08:05 PM Oh that park is cool! I have never seen one configured like that before, very unique and LOTS of structures! Mom of 2 02-03-2007, 08:07 PM Lynette: We have never seen a park like that one either. Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler Mom of 2 02-03-2007, 08:09 PM The 14th won't work for us. Patty has a birthday party to go to. Maybe that Sunday? Kate Mom to Patty and Tyler Luckylove 02-03-2007, 08:10 PM Sure, Sunday works fine. I will post a few days before to remind you. Kellie_MO5 02-03-2007, 08:13 PM I've never heard of that park (or been to.. lol)... Is it large/spread out? Or is there a toddler area? Lynette 02-03-2007, 08:23 PM There are a couple of toddler areas but they aren't fenced and there are two or three other bigger kid areas which include this huge slide tower that must be a story and a half tall, if not two which is all enclosed in bars so the can't fall or anything. Bathrooms too. It is big but not as big as the Howarth play area I don't think and more bunched together rather than long like HP. |
