I think that would be a lot of fun, but I have no business experience! Or $30,000.

It's a tough market during a horrible economy. The "drop-in" concept is almost impossible to translate into a successful business.
$30k is nothing for buying a business but without a solid business model, plan and track record, she is basically selling equipment.
Someone with determination and vision could certainly make it a sustainable business.

The business is doing really good in the mall.
Great to hear!! If anyone is interested in buying the business, don't let $30k stand in your way. With the lease already in place, someone could get an SBA loan.
My startup costs were 5-6x that and I borrowed almost all of it. It's doable.

My husband and I have saved up some money and this would be a fun investment, but we don't how much knowledge in running a bussiness? I knew I should have finished my courses at the JC :bash

You could always hire a business coach to help you through it :)

Wish I could be one. I used a lady in Minnesota (Patti Lustig) for $100/hour phone consults. I worked with her for about 4 months and it has made a world of difference. Don't think our businesses (and me) would have survived the past couple years without her help.
