Anyone watch All My Children?

I'm a huge AMC fan and have been watching for more years than i care to admit. The network has been making huge changes and firing/letting go of a ton of key characters. In the past 4 weeks or so 5 characters have been written off because of a so called satin killer and one character just left because her contract was not renewed. It seems every week another person dies, last week was Dixie and this week is Babe. Talk about daytime drama!

LOL dont tell anyone i have alwasy loved that show................those soaps are so addicting. have you ever listened to youraelf talking about an episode or something to some1 else?! LOL you sound likea crazy person. it is one of those things that you get sucked into.

yup that is me and my mom...we can go on and on about AMC or OLTL and no one will know what we are talking about. My step dad and victor both think we are nuts.

I am a huge "Days" fan and have been watching it since I was a kid. My mom and I can talk about it for hours, if we allowed it. Its sad, I know. A year of two ago the "Salem Stalker" killed off many of the main characters. Some of the actors were not to return, I was starting to get very concerned. Then they were all found on a deserted island. So, I don't know if something like that could happen or not but its a possibility. "Days" can get a little out there sometimes but I would have a hard time not watching it anymore, I feel like there my family and I know them so well (so sad, I know, but so addicting). My husband just rolls his eyes. Occasionally he will ask a question about it and I ask him "Do you really want to know the answer to that?" because you never know how long the answer could take.

sounds like you are exactly like me but my show is AMC. Its funny to think how much we can get into a show. I have been lucky that on victor's days off he will sit and watch it with me and he is now starting to get into it.

They killed off Dixie!!!! And Babe!!!!! Oh no!!!
Seems like she was just brought back on the show, what a few months ago?
I watch it here and there, but my Mom watches it everyday while getting ready for work. My Mom told me they went on a killing spree and the one not renewing the contract. I'm still suprized Susan L. is still on the show -- Will they ever kill her off???

it all started with "brooke" not getting her contract renewed and there was no send off for her. she just disappeared.

then when "simone" was killed off AMC went nuts. I thought just one person would die but instead all these key characters were dieing for no real good reason. In one week it was Simone and Aron, then it was almost Daniel Fry but she disappeared to Hawaii so she wont be killed off for sure, they brought back Bianca (i love her), last week was Dixie (i still cant believe that one) and this week is Babe (she needed to go but i'm still surprised)

Becky - Babe is not dead. They had a funeral for both Dixie and Babe on today's show, but at the very end they showed Babe opening her eyes and in a hospital gown, and lying on a blue mat of some sort.
They could of done this to try and catch the killer or something. Who knows?
Thought I'd catch you up, incase you didn't have a chance to watch it while in the hospital.
