Caden has been sick for the last week, upper respiratory stuff, throwing up, feverish... but he is finally feeling better today. Scott hurt his back a little over a week ago and has been moaning and groaning about that. We both caught Caden's bug and I had to go the ER tonight because I was dehydrated and my pulse was racing about a million miles an hour. Well, come to find out I was spiking a fever and that was making my pulse race and I have pnuemonia and a urinary tract infection. So I got some IV fluids and all kinds of drugs. This is TMI but worth noting... one pill they gave makes me pee like a race horse and I'm peeing flourescent yellow or orange. Kind of looks like Easter egg dye. This is a crappy time to get sick... I have a million things to do before Caden's birthday party this weekend. Anyway, thanks for listening :)

Oh wow! Glad Caden is better, but now you take care of yourself and get better! and I hope your dh's back get's better,, too!

Oh geez, that is sick!!! Did they give you a steroid, that will make you pee like crazy but why give you something that makes you pee if you were dehydrated? Take care of yourself!!!!!

It is likely for the UTI; a friend of mine got one after childbirth and I remember her saying the whole colored pee thing :)

oh and duh, hope you are feeling better soon Meghan. Your health is more important than the party so give yourself a bit of down time between now and then deary :)

The last time I had a UTI I also had to go to the emergency room cause we were leaving the next day for vacation. They gave me that med that makes your pee orange also I think it is to numb your urinary tract so it doesn't hurt as much, but man does it make your pee bright orange.
