I've been wanting to do a quilt for each kid forever. I want to do one of the picture quilts - where you transfer b&w pics to material. Guess I'm kind of afraid that I'll start the project but never finish it so I haven't started it. I can kind of sew and have a serger and basic machine. Congrats on getting your project done! My grandma knitted me a blanket when I was a kid (it wasn't even that personalized) and I took it with me when I went off to college. My boyfriend at the time sort of laughed at it because it was kinda funky looking and I said, "well do YOU have someone who made something special like this for you?"
