This queston has been asked of me by several members lately, so i thought it would be more beneficial to post it here, so everyone can see it.
If you want to add a photo to your post, simply upload your photo to a site such as photobucket.com or imageshack.us. They will provide you with a BB (or Bulletin Board) code for posting it. It should start out with a tag and end with a tag.
To add photos to your signature line, you do the same thing. HOWEVER, please bear in mind the rules of the signatures.
You are able to use both codes AND html image codes to put images in your signature. The following rules apply to all signatures with images in them:
[I]You may have no more than 1 Ticker (no blinkies)
You may have no more than 2 Blinkies (no ticker)
The images you parse in your signature may not cause your signature to exceed the size of 5 lines of text. (a good guidline is images should be no more than 160 pixels tall)
If your signature does not meet these guidelines, it will be pruned without notice to the appropriate size.
These rules are simply in place to keep the signatures from taking up more room than the actual posts do, and to keep the site from looking like the Vegas Strip from all the blinkies.
