yes I'm full of questions today hehe
I wanted to know from those of you who have more than one little one:
Did you use a bigger diaper bag or more than one when you had two kids in diapers? I have my old one which never seemed big enough and i ofter found myself going out with two believe it or not and all i had was Myah.
I have no experience having two kids in diapers and cloth at that. To top it off i just recently started carrying a purse again but i figure that is going out the door again and will have to figure out how to pack my stuff into the diaper bag as well.

I had to get a bigger diaper bag since Patty was still in diapers when Tyler was born, and with the extra clothes and extra things that I had to pack a bigger diaper bag I had to go to. I tried fitting it into the one I was using with just Patty and fitting the extra clothes and diapers for Tyler just did not fit into the small bag. Plus, I found that when I had a bigger diaper bag, if I had to , I could just fit my purse inside on the diaper bag on top(I mean your hands are already full with the one child walking and the new baby and the diaper bag) It made it a bit easier for me to try and consolidate how many bags that I had. My small bag really wasn;t a purse though, It was just a small black bag with a shoulder strap, so I always had both hands free.
Maybe so you don't buy a new diaper bag and then find out you won't need it, why not take the bag that you already have, and put some clothes, diapers, bibs etc,,, whatever else you may use and see if it fits?
Hope this helps. Good Luck. How are you feeling?

I can already see i'm running into trouble with the bags i have. just for fun while i was packing for the hospital i tried to see how it was going to work with two kids and already i know that the two bags i have aren't big enough to hold stuff for both kids. I just didn't know if i should just get used to the idea that I'm going to need two have two bags or if i should look into getting a bigger one until myah is potty trained.

We have been doing the backpack thing occassionally... I kinda like it better. It's just easier than lugging a bi 'ol diaper bag around.

When Caden was smaller, I had a big diaper bag that I left in the car. I kept about 15 extra diapers, two changes of clothes, blanket, wipes, changing pad, a couple of toys, clean bottle and anything else I might need. Then, I had a smaller diaper bag/purse combo that I carried with me into the store or wherever, that had a diaper, wipes and a couple of smaller things. I figured I was always close enough to my car that I could take Caden out there if we had major urpage or diaper leakage or whatever. Then we switched to a backpack. I like that much better. It's hands free, since I can wear it and we can fit a ton of stuff in it. If it gets too heavy, I make Scott wear it :)

ditto on the backpack :) esp with cloth. Prefolds take up lots more room than sposies.

I just leave my diaper bag in the car with the extra clothes, diapers etc.I change Tyler's diaper before we leave the house and often he is okay . We just have extra clothes in there for Patty. A backpack is a good idea. We do that when Ken comes with us on outings and we would have the stroller and a backpack was much easier to carry and fit in the bottom of the stroller.
