It just occured to me that Hannah would enjoy going to a farm to get our milk. And maybe it would cost the same or slightly cheaper?
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a dairy, preferrably in Santa Rosa.
TIA,
Beth

have no idea if it is organic but that place that did a halloween set up (maybe search the archives, my brain is toast this morning) has a dairy and does tours.
And Clover Stornetta has organic milk, don't know if they do a p/u service. Maybe label read at Whole Foods??? I would think they would stock local milk and then you could search from there.

I dunno if you are looking for organic but pasteurized and homogenized milk but I am not sure they would have all the machinery to do that on a small local farm? Clover would I am sure, but not sure who else.
My brain is gone too but the dairy Lisa is talking about was near where Lorie lived in Two Rock before she moved to Cotati.

Its Spring Hill Jersey Cheese. They are located at 4235 Spring Hill Road, Petaluma. 762-3446
They also have the Petaluma Creamery Store in Petaluma at 621 Western Ave. 762-3446
My friend, Jeanette her inlaws own/run Spring Hill Cheese. If you stop by the Creamery Store she's in there working most days(or at least it seems that way when I talk to her).

It seems that you are more interested in the farm experience than the wholesale aspect of this organic dairy experience. I am going to, down the road, be ordering wholesale organic groceries through 2 possible sources. There are minimums so if anyone is interested in getting in on this let me know. I am not yet ready to commit to the minimum alone.

I try not to promote dairy so much with my kids because of their allergy to it, but it is a ton of fun to tour farms and such. It is a good way to educate the kids about where their food comes from and get them back in touch with nature.
