Hey Ya'll, if you are looking for something to do this Saturday, come out to the annual Cotati Kids Parade. The theme this year is Candyland!!!!
Btw, I don't think we will be in it this year, but ya never know!

Cool!! Every year is candy theme according to Alaina as she fondly refers to this as the candy parade since they throw it out at the bystanders the whole time!

After what happened at the 4th of July parade this year, I think we are going to avoid parades for awhile.

Bummer wish we could go but Jeremy and I are taking Ben to NHRA Autolites tomorrow at Infineon! Have fun for those who go!

DH got called out to work this morning and since I couldn't go back to sleep..... I decorated the wagon and picked out some things for B&B to wear..... hmmmmm.......

Aw man, I was thinking about checking it out, but I figured it was at 10 and just looked and saw it's a 9. We're all still in our jammies, so we're not going to make it. :(

B&B are just waking up...ha...ha... we will see if we get out the door in time. I think the parade didn't start until 10:15 or later last yr.

Danielle it does start at 10am, the line up for the parade starts at 9am but it doesn't get moving until 10 although i remember last year it started late and Alaina was bugging me like crazy...

We had a great time too Shanta!!!!!!! We stayed until 2:00 and thank you Brooke for telling me about the photo booth, I shall post pics later. BTW, Venessa, YOU LOOKED WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!

We had a blast! The girl got her face painted...got her candy land photo taken...candy GALORE was gotten at the actual parade...she got to sit with her pals...and she LOVED the magic show!!!

We had a great time too! Ran into Cheryl who owns Friar and she insisted I use one of their chairs to watch the parade. She's so sweet:) Caitlin got tons of candy and had to get her princess pick after watching Madelynn!
Jenny, you're crazy :) you looked amazing in that dress! I loved B&B's outfits! Brianna's hair was so cute:)

Venessa, you are too funny, that dress is like 12 yrs. old, but I have gotten a lot of mileage out of it. I originally wore it for my brother's wedding, ha...ha... Brianna made me feel special bc she kept calling me Ella (as in Cinderella.... so sweet, nice to know I rank with her fav. person in the WHOLE world.)
I laugh bc I am such a nut for the Cotati Kids Parade. Little did I know the cash prizes for the parade. THey gave out a ton of awards each at $100!!!!!!! They called out the winners and they talked about a lady who slipped in (hee...hee) with a decorated wagon and toted her cute kids. I totally thought "WOW!" that was me! Until they said she worked at some glass place....ummm... so not me. But hey, maybe next year we can get some SCMers together (not like last year!!!!!) and win some college $ for the kiddos. ???!!!! ANyone? ( I am thinking I am on my own again....) :tongue
