Hey everyone.

I am looking for a new family doc that takes Blue Cross & new patients... That has an office in RP or SR... Any recommendations?

TIA

We just started going to Mary Frank in RP. I have only been there once and it seemed nice.

We use to go to Laurie Cederberg in SR on Doyle park. She was really nice but I always felt rushed. I also had some doubts about her. I went to her for my OB care. At about 7 months I started feeling this bump (baby) in my upper left abdomen. She would say "oh feel her little butt". It literally stuck out of my stomach. Anyway, fast forward two months and I am in labor at the hospital. My water broke, doctor was on vacation and the nurse gave me an exam. She discovered that Ava was breech and that bump we felt for months was actually her head. I ended up with a C-section and cant help but thinking that maybe if we went to an OB that they would have discovered it and could have turned her. She was a great doctor otherwise. All the doctors in that practice were great.

Good luck. I know its hard to know which one to choose.

We go to Mary Frank, Brian loves here because she is down to earth and doesn't beat around the bush. I *think* I read somewhere that she is the president of the Family Practioners of America in the past year but just haven't been sick to need to go in to double check.

Dr. Gary McLeod at Doyle Park Family Medicine is awesome. He was our family doctor for years and delivered both of my kids. I had a C-section with my first then the option to have a VBAC for #2. I opted to have a C-section so I could stay with Dr. McLeod. Stupid insurance/hospital issues would have made me change doctors & hospitals if I'd tried a VBAC.
