We just got our certified letter from Sutter that Jackson needs to be revaxed, I'm so irritated that he's affected by this:

Did you ladies know, you can ask for a RX for lidocaine (or the like) to numb the area of injection to lessen the pain?....I have read before on here in the past from other mamas...just needs to be done an hour prior to the shot to be able to soak in...worth a try if you think it would be beneficial to ease the "trauma" of shots for your little ones...

I called about the letter and told them we had switched to Kaiser so I would not be coming in for the shots but needed to know which ones exactly he needed to have again. They said they would check his chart and call me back. They called a few minutes later and said he didn't need any new shots based on the exact dates and temperatures they kept the vaccines at on the day he got them.

That sounds... odd. If they, as a lot, were stored at the wrong temp they were stored at the wrong temp. I don't get why it would matter if they were the right temp "the day of". If they "froze" bringing them up to proper temp isn't going to help and if they got too hot cooling down isn't going to make whatever effect "overheating" did to them. Either way I wouldn't worry about it but that reasoning seems weird... I dunno...

I agree, I don't know what to do. I was just going to pray about it LOL. I guess I should call back and ask those questions.
