Phosphate-Free Dishwasher Detergent

I've been noticing the last few weeks that my dishwasher suddenly doesn't seem to be getting the job done the way it used to. I thought it was odd since it's a new dishwasher and I hadn't switched detergent brands. Then I read this article, checked my box, and sure enough, in tiny print, Phosphate-Free. It all makes sense now! I'm all for laws to protect the environment, but it's really frustrating to have to rewash half my dishes! What brands do you all use and have you noticed a difference? I'm using the Finish (used to be Electrosol) tabs and want to try something else when I finally run out of the giant Costco box. :rolleyes

I use the Cascade tabs and I buy the ginormous tub from Costco.

I buy the Method tabs from Target, which are Phosphate free but work fine in my dishwasher. I can't do cascade or other brands because the fragrance makes me feeling sick.

We had issues with ours not cleaning too, and we ended up calling a repairman (through our Home Warranty company) and they found broken glass and such in there. After they cleaned it out, ours started cleaning really well. :) No issues since.

When we had a dishwasher, we used the liquid Kirkland brand.
Worked wonders for us.

It's only recently that they stopped having phosphates, so if you've had a big thing of detergent for awhile it may be the old "good" kind.

Not sure if this will help but try running an empty load using apple vinegar to clean the dishwasher system out it may help
