So we were looking for a fun family outing this weekend and since it's raining, our #1 choice, the beach, was out. Anyway, I was searching the internet and I thought I'd share some of what I found. These would be GREAT SCM activities!!

February 24 -- The Occupation of Alcatraz and Indian Activism
Lecture: During the whirlwind era of termination many California Indian Rancherias became things of the past. In a landmark case, Tillie Hardwick v. United States, one Pomo woman restored the sovereign status of 16 tribes. CIM honors Ms.Hardwick's dedication and contributions to all California Indians. Every 3rd Saturday of the Month -- Pacific Coast Air Museum Open House
Museums & Exhibitions: On the third weekend of each month the cockpit of a featured aircraft will be open for our visitors to view and inspect. At the Pacific Coast Air Museum, 2330 Airport Boulevard, Santa Rosa.

March 4 -- Junie B. Jones at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts
Family Fun, Performing Arts: Junie B. Jones is finally graduating from kindergarten and is ready for first grade, at last! But getting used to a whole new group of friends, a new teacher, and new glasses is challenging, even for irrepressible Junie B. Follow Junie's adventures in this original new musical based on the books by Barbara Park. 50 Mark West Springs Rd., Santa Rosa
