I know there are a few scrapbookers on here, so I was wondering if anyone was going to the Scrapbook Expo March 16-17 in Pleasanton? I'm planning on going Friday the 16th but my friend that was going with me has to work. Anyone want to go?

Is there a cover charge? Are you taking kids?
I am still trying to set a date for my son's birthday party sometime at the end of March, but I may be interested.
That that is St. Patrick's Day! Don't forget to wear green!

It's $8 to get in. I'm not planning on taking Caden (asked Scott to take a day off :) just because it is a longish car ride and he will not want to sit around while at the expo (lots of make & takes to do while you're there) and will not be able to keep his hands off of everything. So it would be no fun for me to bring the little squirt :)

Tina - I'm planning on going, even if I end up going by myself, so maybe just me know by the beginning of that week?
Bummer, I can't go on the 16th. :( I really want to go tho. :(
I know there is an Expo in Sacramento later in the year put on by the same company. Maybe I'll make it to that one... :)

Are you set on going on Friday? My daycare client may no be able to get the day off on the 16th, and I do not wan't to take kids. Saturday would work better for me. Let me know if you are open to Saturday!

I work Sat/Sun and I just found out over the weekend that I can't go on Friday either because I have a mandatory meeting I have to go to on the 16th. Grrrr. I'm so irritated about this! My boss totally made me mad over the weekend and this meeting was the topper.
Anyway, I'm sorry that I have to recant but now I can't go at all!

It's $8 admission, you have to pay to park also. I posted a link earlier in the thread, that has all the details. I'm bummed I can't go as this is supposed to be a really great event!

Barb,
Are you interested in going on the 17th? Saturdays work better for me anyway?
Hey Tina,
I want to go, but dh is leaving early the next morning for a quick business trip, so we'll be doing family stuff that day. :(
I'm going to plan on going to the Sacramento one this summer.

I'm planning on going to the one in Sac this fall too.
Yeah, I just looked at the calendar. :) It'll be cooler in November than August anyway! ;)

No problem, how did you all learn about these? I would love to know ahead of time before the next one.
I get magazines with adds in them. ;) I know at one time you could sign up for reminder emails with the Expo company and they'd email you when tickets go on sale.
I'm going in November. :) Come heck or high water! :)
