Suggestion.

Hi there,
I was curious about SCM's forums...I was wondering if there was an allergy forum. If not may I suggest one, it would be great to communicate with other moms with such a challenging daily issue. I have a two year old daughter and she has allergies to dairy, eggs and all nuts and it would be great to have a place to go and read what other moms are going through and what there little daily tid bits are. Thanks.

I feel your pain... I just picked up a refill on my son's Epi-pen ($84). Stupid name brand deductible. I have never had to use one, but we had a VERY close call last month due to a pistachio... Allergies absolutely suck.

Eggs too? That must be really difficult.

Addie is allergic to Cashews. I wasn't there when it happened so scary.

There are already forums for "Health & Wellness" (public) and another one for "Diet & Exercise" (registered). Perhaps one of those would be a good fit for discussions about allergies?

But she isn't allergic to peanuts?? Usually if you are allergic to one you are allergic to both, at least that is what our allergist told us (and everything we have read).

Eman has been officially been dx with an allergy to peanuts but has had allergic reactions to cashews, almonds, pistachios as well... So scary.
