View Full Version : Chinese food in RP? Luckylove 03-02-2007, 07:17 AM We have tried several places since moving her 3 years ago and cannot find a good chinese restaurant. What are some good ones in the area. We are willing to go to Cotati or SR if necessary. Restaurants suck in RP! And if you know of any good pizza places we could use those too! Thanks :hungry Lorah 03-02-2007, 07:38 AM Though my taste for Chinese was destroyed when I was pregnant...can't touch the stuff anymore YUCK!...my husband and our friends really like the one in the Rite Aid/Starbucks/Kragen/Togos etc shopping center (can't remember the name) over off Farmers Lane....just off the 12 there. Litterally just off the 12....at 12 and Farmers turn right and turn right into the first driveway there. Lynette 03-02-2007, 07:44 AM In RP: Confucious by Raley's is our fav for chinese. Do NOT go to Fu Zhou by Oliver's, I found a roach in the chow mein and couldn't eat chinese for a year or two and it is one of my favorites. Pizza: In RP, I personally like Mary's best (by the DoubleTree) but Brian like's Mountain Mike's by Bradley Video. The *best* pizza has to be Old Chicago in Petaluma, we just made the drive down there the other day for it. Petaluma has great food, RP is all chains. Not that I'm bias or anything, being my husband is the assistant brewer there. jellybeanmichelle 03-02-2007, 02:28 PM I loved Tai Yuet Lau! They were in the old Roger Wilco shopping center. They changed names to China Delight or something like that. Still the same food and prices. And the center is now Pacific Market. What about 3rd Street Ale Works? I'll have to go try Russian River Brewing Co. I love Mary's Pizza! Maybe cause I like their salad or the Pesto bread sticks, or cause I know one of the managers. Just had it the other night. And I have to agree, Old Chicago Pizza in Petaluma is Awsome! If your looking for mexican in Cotati, Rafa's is good. The beer there is totally differnt than at Russian River, same goes for the food. I can't go too long without getting Aleworks' Garlic, Parm. Cheese fries...they are to die for!!! I got VERY ill after eating at Rafa's! So I have not been back. Maybe it was just one bad experience. I'm glad to hear that I may not always hate it. I use to like it. We have tried them all and I am really picky. We love Silver Dragon it is in the shopping center that 49er Pets is in. YUM I've never eaten there, in fact I've never been there to pick up either, but Greg picks it up and takes it home and we all LOVE it and eat it all gone. :) I loved Paradise Pizza but it's still closed down. :( Other than that, I'm a Round Table fan.
