The owner says he is conducting his business properly but people are complaining of a bad smell coming from a storage unit???? You would really hope that the one type of business in the world that would be without corruption of some kind, would be the mortuary/funeral business. And even if somehow that is okay to do, I don't want my departed loved one stored in a freaking storage unit!

OH I just read that! Man, how nasty that would be to be smelling dead human flesh....It's bad enough smelling the sonomaroma when its warm....I can only imagine!
this has happened SO MANY TIMES. There was one i heard of that had HUNDREDS of bodies in the guys basement at home and he was giving the creamated "ashes" to the family members were actually broken up cinder block. He did it that way b/c he said he couldn't afford the big furnace thing they use for creamation, and told people he did creamation services. BLECH

Was that the guy in Georgia? I remeber that case, they dragged the lake on his property looking for more.
There was a case in SR awhile back about a guy who was paid to disperse ashes over the ocean and Cobb Mountain who just packed them in his hangar at the airport. Hundreds of boxes...
I honestly can't for the life of me remember where it was, but i DISTINCTLY remember the story and thinking that he must be mentally imbalanced. Lol

The pressdemo.com has an updated article and in it mentions a neighbor who talks about 5 burned bodies from a car accident that were being shipped to Mexico which I *really* hope are not the 5 same Mexican family members who burned to death on 101 near Windsor a couple of months ago because two of them were kids :(

it is that family :( http://www1.pressdemocrat.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070126/NEWS/701260331&SearchID=73274150946234
And as an aside, given a choice, I can't see picking a mortuary that runs out of a strip mall... that is weird to me. So I go to the mortuary and deal with whatever protocol that needs to be done in regards to my one and then go next door to pick up a pizza or chinese food???

No kidding :( I was a little surprised they didn't say it was *that* family in the article but maybe it is a victim privacy thing? The whole thing is just bizarre.
