View Full Version : Rose Parade Sat. 5/21 hlebakos 05-19-2011, 04:18 PM Anyone going to the Rose Parade this year? I am wondering if it is worth the trouble to drag B&B (3 yrs. old.) I saw Froggy 92.9 is having a concert afterwards, and that should be fun, but I will probably be solo.... What time should I arrive? How is the food? Lynette 05-19-2011, 04:29 PM I am planning on going with at least Alaina (Salina has prom that night and has a hair appt and doesn't need to be standing out in the sun) because she is really into percussion and marching bands right now but I haven't been in years so I would love to hear about any great spots to watch or park. I think I saw somewhere that it can be a couple of hours long though so I dunno if we would last that whole time. surmick 05-19-2011, 05:51 PM It was over two hours last year. Tim's band is the 9th exhibit this year so we may skip out early lol. Melody's school will be in it too but she won't be with them, so we might not stay for it lol. I was going to walk over with a friend but her daughter is sick so I will be going alone. With any luck I might find my kids somewhere in the crowd (its dad's weekend) I don't live that far away and have room in my driveway for 2 more cars so if anyone wants to park here just let me know.
