And I mean the actual day each year not the event itself. If that was the case we all would be answering susan's, of course! ;)

Today is my 30th birthday. I think it is really important, but I think I'll be more excited about Andrew's 1st birthday when it comes around. He'll be 6 months on the 28th.

Happy Birthday!!!

Oh - and I really can't answer that. I think they're all about equally important. I go with the "who's b-day is it? Ok, today X's b-day is most important!" I think it's good just to celebrate life and make someone feel special that one day a year.

Mine, of course...

Hubby's birthday is usually Father's Day weekend. DS#1 is around Thanksgiving. DS#2 is the week before Christmas. Mine is the only one not associated with a holiday. And usually the one most forgotten. ;) Because I'm not doing the planning.

Because they are so close to each other and 3 major holidays we usually do a joint party for the boys. They also have friends that are part of the same family, so instead of inviting one kid one weekend, then the next kid the next weekend, trying to fit in birthday parties amongst holiday parties and family events, it's just easier to invite everyone someplace at once.

My birthday is not ultra important to me at this point in my life; DH's birthday will always be celebrated because he loves the attention, parties, etc. I don't believe in Jesus and while I like celebrating the birth of our nation and consider it an important day, my son's birthday is the most important to me.

My parents always made a big huge deal out of my birthday every year and I love doing the same thing for Caden. That is his special day and Scott and I want him to remember his birthday as being a special day.

Okay, so I was going to say MINE, but really, I get more excited and plan more fun to celebrate the kids birthdays each year.

I'd say Travis' and Mine are about the same, but mine wins out over his. :giggle

If we were talking about the actual event more important of all time, I'd say the birth of Jesus.

I don't know, for me, it wasn't a question. It is absolutely Cole's birthday who is most important. Maybe it's selfish, but my child's birth outweighs any other option because it's something I was a part of and will never forget.

My kids are definitely more important. I love making a big deal about their birthday even if all it is that I tell them over and over and over again all day love how much I love them, filled with kisses and happy birthday's. All 3 kids have bday's on or around a holiday but for the most part its not a big deal. Kayla's is on a mexican holiday which she gets a huge kick out of, Myah's right after the 4th of July which makes it hard to plan any bday parties so we haven't had one ever, and well Shelsea is my ONLY reason to like Valentine's day.

I love celebrating my birthday too especially when it lands on Friday the 13th. Most times I am forgotten though except for on FB :biglaugh

I love making a big deal about the kids birthdays too. Like Lorah my birthday is usually more important then Jeremys :giggle but I try to make his day special too. This year was my 30th so I was surprised by a trip to Vegas which was by far the best birthday I ever had. And this weekend is Jeremys birthday so I'm trying to make his great. But usually ours are low key and we make the kids as fun as we can.

Totally agree! I could give a rip about my birthday. I do get excited for mine or Nicks because Kayden loves to help make a cake or blow out candles. My boys (actually all 3..1st bday, 30th and 4th) are all coming in the next months :)

My kids. Not even a second thought about that. I had plenty of time where it was all about me BEFORE I had kids. Now that I've had my own, it's time to pass that along. Even when Lucas was disabled and had the mental capabilities of a 3 month old, we celebrated it. I celebrated his last birthday, with him deceased, and plan to still for the rest of my life, just as I will with Kaylyn. No, I won't through big parties for him, but cupcakes and a special dinner so he knows (wherever he is) that his birthday is just as important as it was when he was here.

Definitely the kids for me. For my birthday, not that big of a deal if its missed or something doesn't go right. But for the kids, we try to get everything perfect.

Today is my 30th birthday.

Happy birthday!

I picked mine because everything I do is for the girls. That is just my one day. Even if no one gets me anything it's still my birthday. Without me there wound be no them. I guess with that thought my moms birthday would be the most important. :lol

Totally Katie!! :lol
