So, I think a little elf visited my bathroom and put some unidentifiable peice of hard plastic insode of it, or maybe it died on it's own....who knows. Either way, when I turned it on, it made a HORRIBLE snapping, cracking sound, and started shooting little shards of plastic out of it. :giggle It was quite entertaining!

I need a new one, but I'm thinking of buying a REALLY good one, because my hair tends to get static and be hard to dry. So, tell me about GOOD blowdryers, and why I shouldn't go buy one from WallyWorld for $15 like I usually do. :)

Thanks in advance!

I have a conair one that HAS to be incredibly cheap b/c my mil bought it for my in a gift pack - the WHOLE basket was pink, lol, curling iron, blow drier, bath sponge, hair clips, soap dish, etc - but i love it. It's an ION SHINE drier with a diffuser included

If I were going to buy a nice one, I'd hit sally. Be sure to look for a diffuser and an ION drier. Makes a huge difference.

Yeah, that's what seems to be a common theme is the 'ION' thing. I'd love a pink one. But the one I was looking at on eBay was going for about $140. YIKES! Thanks, Jackie. :)

One of my past hairdressers told me one time the cheaper blow dryers lasted the longest... she would buy a pricey one and it would die within a couple of months. She would get a cheap one at Wallyworld and it would last a lot longer.

Sparks and chards of plastic... wow that is pretty entertaining :lol

My hairdryer took a crap on me recenly too! I went out and bought the $200 one from PureBeauty. All the girls in there RAVED about it (of course - right?) I got it home, used it for a week - and LOVED IT. It had that ION thing going on too! It was quiet and dried my hair quicker then my old dryer. I do have thin hair though. I ended up returning it becasue I just couldn't justify $200 for a hairdryer. Although - it did ROCK! I went out and bought a cheapie......and it works. But I did notice that with the pricey dryer my hair was not as frizzy, flyaway-ish (is that a word??). I can't remember the name of the dryer though. I can find out for you if you are interested?!?

Actually, yes - that would be great, if it's not a pain! That's exactly what I am hoping for, because mine gets staticy and fly-away too. Thanks guys!

Rebekah - Its the T3 by Bespoke Labs. You can get it at Pure Beauty (Montgomery Village still carries them I think) or online through Sephora. I am jealous...........Can I come over and blow out my hair?? LOL

Yeah, sure come over anytime. I'm going to book my hairdryer time at 7-7:45am. Call for an appointment. Maybe we can share custody, since you gave me the idea. :giggle Thanks, Julia! I'll look into it!
