I just got back from Village Sewing at Coddington Mall and all their yarn that is on sale, they are getting rid of for $1 a piece!
I picked up 11 rolls of wool yarn that ranged in priced from 6.99 - 8.99 regularly all for $11.00!!!!
That's almost $100 worth of yarn for $11.00
They said they are going to be on sale until they get rid of them - there are tons of different brands on sale and within each brand, several colors.
If you knit, or crochet, or whatever, it's more than worth the trip :)

wow sounds like a great deal...and then some! Too bad I couldn't knit to save my life......seriously...I've never even given it a whirl...but it looks hard!:(

i have never been there but it sounds like an awesome sale. why are they getting rid of their yarn?

She said they wanted tomake room for some new invetory. It's not all there yarn - but any of the yarn that was on sale is now only $1. It's some really good quality yanrs too:thumb

Well.. that yarn went quick.. I grabbed 18 skeins of rowan wool for 18 bux.. what a steal!! Most of what is left now are eyelash and ribbon like yarns.. and lots of berocco chinchilla if you like that sort of yarn :)

I'm glad you made it while they still had the wool. I only grabbed 4 skeins of the rowan wool and I know I should have grabbed more. I just couldn't believe it. I was sure that when I got up to the register the woman would tell me that there was some mistake -
But I can't complain - 11 rolls all together - definatley a steal!
I went and didn't see anything that I had to have. But my friend bought 10 skeins to make hats for her kids for Christmas. :) I was good and only bought the needles and yarn I need to make my Mother's Day gifts... :D
