This year I'm making something special for my mom for mother's day since not only has she been an incredible mom to me but she is also a new grandma again. Need a photo for your tin? Our own staff photographer is extending her very own special. This is a perfect option if you need a recent photo taken of your little ones and also give you the option to be in front of the camera with your kiddos and not behind it.

Photo will be coming soon! We are also negotiating a deal to have custom hand made jewelry available too as a gift for mom inside the tin.

hee hee no you didn't miss a post. I happened to find someone who is willing to help me brush up on my photography skills while i prepare to get ready to get back in school. I have been looking forever to find someone who would be willing to work with me and let me use their photos for my work especially for stuff like this and i got lucky and finally found someone.

The hardest problem i had was that i want to occasionally be able to offer specials for the holiday's but until I can get my skills back into the photography end of things again i need someone who will work with me who also enjoys providing these kinds of great specials. So at last I got lucky and found someone :thumb

Okay Ladies, I was going to order more tins as it seems this idea is going over well ;) I brought a sample with me to Hawarth Park today but I'm not sure how many of you who were interested actually got to see it. So that said i wanted to posted an image to show how we have used these in the past and i will post a finished product for you hopefully tomorrow to show you what the "complete package" looks like.

This is a 6 x 5 4-1/4 mesh tin*. your image is printed on the top with a photo and message of your choosing.

On the inside you can include your own gift or we have some awesome custom hand-made jewelry you can purchase. (photo will also be added tomorrow)

Your greeting card can also match your tin or be something entirely different. Again since its custom you get so much more flexibility :)

yes you do :) Its not humongous but its just the right size IMO for mom to keep those kinds of things. So far the moms i have given them too have really enjoyed them.

I'm working on the art now for the sample piece with the jewelry included that can also be purchased if anyone is interested.

I will have a finished product for everyone to see that comes over on Monday.

Mother's Day is just around the corner.

For those of you interested in getting the 5x7 photos we to have your photos taken by Wednesday at the latest to avoid the $12 rush fee.

If you are submitting your own photo for a Mother's Day greeting card or tin we need that by Friday or there will be an $8 rush fee.

Complete packages will be ready by Friday May 11th and I will deliver them to you personally unless you want to come by my house to pick them up.

Tomorrow I will have a complete package sample ready (with the hand-made jewelry additional option) for you to see first hand.

I was going to do some of those for my mom and so my mil, but after paying bills the last two days I dont think we can swing it :( BUT.... I am putting money aside for Fathers Day starting now so I dont have to miss out on that too. :)

Those listed here are sold as follows:
Necklace: $40, 18" unless otherwise specified in order
Bracelet: $30, 7 1/2" unless otherwise specified

Both are available in either Gold or Silver and are made with fresh water pearls. Either can have a name/date added up to 8 characters for no additional cost. Up to 4 birthstones can be added at no additional cost, more than 4 are an extra $1 each

Deadline for the jewelry is Friday so they can be delivered by Saturday.
