Well.... BBC is starting in Windsor here soon and it's at 6:45am Mondays and Fridays. I am *seriously* considering getting my butt in gear for this. Wanna join me?

i'm not sure I can afford $65 a month for it right now, but I'm wanting to start that this summer.

I need to get my butt out of bed and start walking at 7am.
I went walking this morning at 8:30am, it was already hot!
As for the gym, I can only start at 8am, cause that is when the gym day care opens up.

:lol I guess I was looking for some more creative options than just the typical "walk, run" type scenarios :)

You could always go back to curves. Not that that is creative. I don't work out, so I'm no help :)

BTW...what does the winner get? Maybe I want to join the competition!!

Tennis, soccer, etc...
I hate running, but if it's short tiny runs, I'll do it.

I just got a bike and a trailer so I can go riding with Salina and take Alaina with us. Hopefully that will be fun for all of us :)

we have a gift card prize, but we are already several days into the program from our initial weigh in. If this one goes quick, though, we can let everyone know and yall can get in on the next cycle?

A Burley Solo, they were cheaper than the two seaters and I figured since I would keep it in the garage anyways the resale would make it worth it.

Okay... These are my recommendations...

1.) Peaks and valleys at the JC track (run up the stairs in the middle of the seating, when you reach the top, turn right and run along the top of the bleachers, then run down the stairs, up the middle again, turn left... etc. You run in a figure 8. You get the picture...)

2.) Go to a long overpass (like Hearn maybe)... Sprint to the top, jog down, spring back to the top, jog down-- Do this like... 10 times.

3.) Sprint for 1 minute, jog for 3 minutes, sprint for 1 minute, jog for 3 minutes... Do this while running a total of 3 miles. (It goes fast) :)

4.) Jumprope- Even better if you have a weighted rope (I do if you don't) Jump for a minute, rest for 1 minute. Try and do it for an hour -if you can ;)

That's all I can think of at the very moment. We did all of those things when I was ran track and field competitively- they will help you get your ass in shape fast if you are really ademant about reaching your goal.

I'm going to have to try the jump rope one. One of Ken's friends today asked me if I was pregnant!(which I am not) Talk about needing to lose the baby tummy weight....
I seem to lose a few then gain a few.. I'll have to keep working at it.

Totally forgot about the jump rope!
Back in the day, I was good at double dutch.

Guess I better invest in a jump rope, that way Victoria will have one for when she gets older.

Wooah. I just did this on the elyptical machine at the gym this morning. I went 4 miles though. It really did go fast - but I also had a good book. It was a great workout!
