Not to tease you or anything but i wanted to share how yummy my house smells. Two cheese cakes are in the oven now and the other two are next.

I'm going to have to try and have restraint and not cut into one tonight. That is going to be tough though.

heck if i know really its a very old recipe that my dad got from an old lady when i was just a baby. This lady wouldn't give it to anyone but for some reason gave it to my dad. I think Lynette has the same recipe or one just like it though but we still have to try each other's baking. it's made with pineapple and very creamy.

I'm saving some for you Lynette BTW and will take it over on Wed :) if you are home.

I was going to post that I can't because I am trying to be good but then I thought, "Who the hell am I fooling?! It is cheesecake for goodness sake!" :lol

I think ours are a little different if I remember when I tried yours last year, I think your pineapple is incorporated into the cheesecake, right? The recipe I have is from Brian's grandma and it is a double recipe for graham cracker crust, the cheesecake (which is pretty sweet and creamy versus dry/dense kinds), then a sour cream layer, and a pineapple topping so technically, it could be some other kind of fruit on top I suppose just in Brian's family it is *always* pineapple :)

mine is creamy too with a sour cream topping but yes the pineapple in incorporated into it. I'm going to have to try a stawberry one next.

Oh don't go out of your way, I am trying to get a million and one things done right now with appointments, paperwork, selling a couple of things, and trying to get a couple of things fixed around the house , etc so you just share with all the ladies who are able to hang out and do the announcements and don't worry about me/us :)
