How many kids do you plan on having when it's all said and done?

James and I have always said we want 2 or 3 kids. With #2 coming soon we're planning on waiting to see how much sanity we have left before deciding if there will be a #3!

well you can see how much "planning" works for some. LOL We planned on having "2 or 3 probably about 2 years apart" You can see how well that planned work out as my oldest will not yet be 5 when #4 gets here and this is the biggest age gap, if I go to term, a whole 22 months! We just can't help but celebrate "surviving that first year" or something

we've always said we wanted 3, but we'd be perfectly content with two. We also always said we wanted atleast one boy and one girl (as if we have any say in the matter ;)) but the more I'm around Brendan, I think all boys would be a LOT of fun. (plus i kinda like being the only girl ;))

Well just tell JR that it is technically his "fault" if you have a boy or a girl... after all it's his little guys that determine that! LOL :) Us women have no control over that! I remind James of that all the time ;)

Gerald wants four total! :o I dunno about that, tho - at least not here in Sonoma County! I want to do Foster care and possibly adopt - but he wants to have another baby first - which to me means that we'll have to wait at least two years after baby to begin fost/adopt - I'd rather start that now/soon and have another baby later! LoL - not being very successful in convincing him that 'our' (bio) baby really can wait!! :) Thank God for the IUD!! LOL!!

We have three. And we're done. Doug doesn't have a strong opinion either way. But given his age(will be 42 on Wed) and that I only had one tube left after an ectopic before Julianna I made the decision before Julianna was born to have tubal ligation(of my one remaining tube).

I mean they showed Kenny Rogers the other night with his current much younger wife and their little boys(under 2 yr old twins if I remember correctly). Kenny is in his late 60's so he'll be almost 90 when they graduate high school.

Ever since i was very young i wanted 4 kids. Ideally it would have been 2 girls and 2 boys but as you know, that is not going to happen.

Victor told me he was done at 1 but i said no way and unless he prevented it i was going to have at least one more. After my miscarrage however I thought Kayla would be it. Myah came 6 years after Kayla.

Now we have baby 3 on the way who was a surprise but in a good way. We thought for sure it was going to take forever for her to be conceived but it was only 2 months.

Now Victor says we are done but i still would like one more to keep the numbers even and maybe i will finally get my boy.

6 if budget allows. I am not close with my only sibling, and really envy the support systems that a lot of family's have. I want the kids to be close, and have each other to lean on through the childrearing years, as well as dealing with Hubby and I as we get older. It just seams easier when the burden is shared.

I am getting old though so we need to hurry up and win the lotto or something, lol!

I would love to be pregnant by Christmas!!!

I think my answer changed since last year... I feel like we have at least on more destined for our family as I am always feeling like literally someone is not accounted for even when all the kids are on the same room as me.

I would be ok if we only had the two girls but we are not preventing a third because I want Brian to have a chance at a boy and I know I would regret not at least trying.

Tina- 6?! Holy cow, that is brave! Although I do the best I can, I am not one of those "born to mother" type women so just with the two I struggle sometimes. Alaina just seems to needy that I feel like Salina gets the short end of the stick sometimes so I have no idea what I would do with even three at this point.

What could be better than having lots of kids?!!! My husband and I are only children, so we hope to be able to adopt at least once more.
I think 2 or 3....

I'm an only child and I have thought all my life that is the only way to go! I never wanted siblings and felt bad for my friends that had them :lol I thought for sure I would only ever want one child but guess what? I want another one. Scott would definitely like another one also, especially since he wants a daddy's girl. I would like to have all boys though. But whatever happens, happens!

i have always wanted 3 kids, but i go back and forth between what gender.(not like i can choose but just imagineing if i could) if i do have a girl i want her to be in the middle, then have a boy being the youngest. but i dont know i like the attention i get being the only girl i am not sure if i could share that....LOL

becasue i am literally the only girl in my house there is neil, kail and our 2 cats which are boys as well!

I think 2 is good for now, but who knows. We both just think that we have something good going now and don't want to mess things up by bringing another baby in the house. I am afraid of making Amelia the 'middle child' and don't want Jacob to loose out on any more attention that he is already missing because of A. They are really close and I don't know if a third will take away from their friendship, especially if I had another girl, the girls would definately be close and leave Jacob out. Who knows though, I am not on birth control so a 'whoops' is definately a possibility :)

We want 2- and we're hoping that they are about 4 years apart. I'd like to have a girl next time around... But Emanuel wants all boys!

Those men who say they want a houseful of boys are the ones who end up being wrapped around the finger of their little girls. Chad wanted a boy so bad. He was actually disappointed and a little pissed when we found out we were having a HEALTHY baby girl (big jerk) and now he is so in love he doesn't know what to do with himself. It is really cute. Whenever he looks at her and gets that look of total love in his eye I can't help but give him a hard time about.

Which is EXACTLY why Emanuel doesn't want one! :lol

I didn't vote... we don't really have a planned out number here... we want at LEAST one more, so that would put us at 5, but we're not sure about afterwards... we just take it one kid at a time...lol... I personally think we'll have 6+, put we just don't know what's in store for us... (we already have 5, if you count the one too precious for earth... ;) )

LOL! Sooo true! Brian was hoping Alaina was a boy but tried really hard not to show any disappointment at the ultrasound (which is why I insisted on knowing so that if it was a girl he could get used to the idea) but he is totally in love! He loves going out and running errands with the girls alone so he can show off and be Daddy of the Year :D We joke all the time about having a third and what we would do if it was also a girl. I told him then every time someone asked him if he had any kids and he said yeah, three girls that he would get instant pity for the rest of his life!

James was funny before Sevannah. Like EVERY man he said he wanted a boy but honestly just wanted a healthy baby and we weren't finding out gender. When we were alone he and I would talk and we just KNEW Sevannah would be Sevannah... and she was! :) With Jazper...we didn't find out either and had a harder time "knwoing" what we were having. He was happy to have a boy. BUT... if we have a third he would want a girl! He LOVES having a daddy's girl. :lol and the funniest part... Jazper SO LOVES his daddy so he's got a daddy's girl and a daddy's boy!

I know Victor would love to have a little boy one day but he got stuck with a house full of girls. He loves his girls so much but i know deep down he still hopes for a boy.

I voted 2. :) I'm done with the whole pregnancy and labor thing. :) We even "fixed" it. :) However, we're not opposed to the possibility of adopting.

We want 2, a boy and a girl. IF #2 is another boy, then my DH wants to try one more time for a girl...he said he wants a little girl to walk down the asile. AWWWWEEE How Sweet huh!?!?!

we really wanted a boy after having 2 girls but its not in the gene pool i guess so we have 3 girls and victor is not up for trying one more time. we might adopted a boy one day though.
