View Full Version : Up to what age can you use the jogger

Alessa still likes regular "stroller" rides especially if we go to the park a few blocks away.. How old (or weight) can you use a jogger stroller? We inherited one but I've used it once when she was under a year old.. but I really want to get moving again (once I tame my allergy problems). The regular stroller is not at a good height/maneuverability for exercise pace.
Anyone use a jogger still (for a child over the age of 2..) or a child seat on the back of a bicycle?
Some say they go up to age 5...I guess look up the info online for your jogger.

i think joggers tend to be up to 40 or 50 pounds, you might be able to look up your brand/model online.
Bike seats i think are to like 40.
All my kids ride in our double jogger (two at a time round robin ;))
I prefer a bike trailer to a seat though esp once kids get older/feistier.

I believe most single joggers go to 50 lbs. The higher weight is why I chose to keep my jogger over my reg single stroller(we don't use strollers much as dd doesn't like to ride in them).

I still put Lucca in a jogger. We actually just got a new one that goes up to 70 lbs. The one that I had before went up to 40 lbs.

70lbs really? what kind did you get?
mine used to go up to 50 lbs. I ended up selling it though because i needed something for two kiddos.

Mine goes to 75 poundsn it is a jogger and backpack, its from koolstop

I like it alot too. I love the shocks. I think it is way more comfy for Lucca too, cause she stays in it rather than wanting in and out like the other one we had.

Every stroller is different but they all go by weight. So you'll need to check with your joggers manufacturer (sp??? I'm brainless today! :bag )
