It is in the works. Fundraising has been going on to get this project under way. They need funds, and volunteers too.
I personally would love to have a Discovery type of museum for kids close by. What fun!
Just wanted to share!
:scratch I may be wrong, but i think we already have a fieldtrip planned for there.

The Discovery Museum we are going to is in Sausalito. The one Tina posted about is one being planned in Sonoma County. However, this has been in the planning stages for years, so it will be interesting to see if it ever gets off the ground.
We are going to the one in tiburon (about 45min away). Someone posted about this one a while back (lorrie?). I can't wait for it to be done, but it looks like it will be a while since it is just still in the planning process.

Jackie, these are the ppl that were landing all the balloons in your photo booth at the Expo.
ahhhhhhh, there we go. I knew i recognized the name from somewhere. LOL
And shooting bubbles at all the people waiting at the adoption booth. LOL

Well I noticed they were part of a city council meeting in SR, I believe, toward the end of last month. They now have a drawing of the museum layout on their site.
Now if we could just get it up an running soon, and IKEA needs to hurry too, lol!
