What is your favorite sandwich?

What is your favorite sandwich? Lately we have been making lots of sandwiches so i wanted to know is everyones favorites.

When I was little, I loved ....fried balogna...I know- gross now that I know better...Now I love turkey and avacodo in a pita....or a GREAT hamburger w/ cheese and all the topings.

I like California Dreamin from safeway. Fried bologna at home is good.

What do you mean fried bologna?? Is it like grilled cheese? Well grilled cheese is my fave. LOL I also had one from Raleys that had turkey or chicken and chipotle sauce, I don't know what it was called but it was to die for. Not very healthy though. LOL I also love the carbonara one from Quiznos. But if you are talking about making stuff at home, grilled cheese all the way!!! LOL

Back when I could get away with anything.... White bread, peanut butter, brown sugar, and bananas!! SO YUMMY!

Now I like turkey with avocado, smoked fontaine (sp?), dijon mustard, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Mmm...making me hungry!

I too enjoyed fried bologna sandwiches as a child. My Granny and Mom would make them alot. They would put a slice of bologna in the frying pan with BBQ sauce. They did the same thing with a sliced up hot dog too. I loved em. I might have one once every 2 or 3 years now. Like the taste, but I am not crazy about bologna in general, and refuse to buy it. My Mom will make them sometimes when we visit.

My favorite sandwich is a tomato and avocado sandwich with may, mustard, cheese, thinly sliced onions, spinach, and salt and pepper. When I am feeling healthy I will put it on whole grain bread, when I am not I love it on a Noah's New York Bagel. I like the Assiago bagels from Costco. Yummmmmm!

I like Turkey on it sometimes too.

i like sourdough roll, mayo/mustard, turkey, cheddar cheese, lettuce and pepperchinis!!!!

If I'm gonna go buy one then my favorite are from Safeway in Bennett Valley (there are two guys who work at the deli that make killer sandwiches and don't skimp on anything)

Soft roll, light mayo, heavy mustard, black forest ham, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, peperchinis and pepper jack cheese. ya i love mine fully loaded :)

When I was in school I had bologna on wheat bread with mayo and ketchup.
Now that I have to watch my salt intake, I only have bologna once in a blue moon. I love grilled cheese with tomato soup. I also usually get the #3 with swiss cheese from Port of subs. Yes, there is lots of salt in those to.

I really, really love peanut butter and honey.
Can you believe I used to eat a peanut butter and mayo sandwich, let alone a liverwurst sandwich as a kid? Ok, maybe I could do the pb&m, but liverwurst? yuck!

growing up my fave was peanut butter and ham...mmmmm... Now, I love left over bbq'd chicken breast with a little bit of melted cheese on wheat with mayo.... I also like grilled ham and cheese... and another fave is mayo, tomato and sprouts... sprouts can make almost any sandwich better ;)
