Hey guys. Just wanted to put another reminder out about the current discount on team sponsorships.
Speaking from the perspective of a business owner, this is really a great deal and will do a lot for your business.
Doing things such as this is what got my business off the ground 1.5 years ago and has left me booked solid for the last year. Any of you who know my business know that I do NO advertising aside from on SCM. I had and ad in the pregnancy resource directory but that was in a trade. I'm not in any phone books or anything other than SCM and community events (all donations). Those have created enough buzz around my business to not only keep me booked, but have me currently turning down clients (including repeat clients) b/c I just don't have the time to do more sessions right now. That's a GREAT problem to have, especially when it costs you nothing but a donation.
Things like this inspire word of mouth, and word of mouth is enough to keep any business going.
It's only a $100 donation (tax deductable) to get your logo on our team shirts (only through midnight on the 27th) and your business address on our team site (and one thing to think about with the site is that all of our members are CONSTANTLY emailing out letters requesting donations and those emails include links to our site... so even if someone doesn't donate, they may view the site and see your information. TOTALLY worth it).
I know we have lots of family oriented businesses here... Childrens books, toys, family products and several up and coming photographers in the area.
I'm urging everyone to really take a moment to consider doing this. It's great for the American Cancer society and it'll help potential clients associate your name with a FABULOUS cause.
For any of you who have worked for me, you know that with my "product" you get above and beyond service. I work my tookus off to have my business shown in a positive light at all times by participating in events that help our community and society as a whole. I'm sponsoring our team as well (at the $250 level) and donate things for every silent auction i'm approached for. Things like this will make a HUGE impact on how your business is viewed in your community.
Just some food for thought.
Also, we have some sponsors who haven't sent their logos in yet, but here's a sample of how our shirts will look although it isn't updated yet. (and the top row will actually be 2 logos, not three)
