Yes, we love it there, and they have SUCH speedy delivery times!

Did anyone else retch when they read that? Lynette... that is horrible!! The Fou Zou in SR got written up by DHS for putting food back on the buffet that was eaten from people's plates... sounds like they have some serious issues!

I know, I know, and I hate thinking about it because I really like Chinese food which I couldn't even look at for a longtime but I *had* to say something because I would obviously feel like crap if it happened again to someone else. And ew, putting food back is just gross too.
Sigh....I think this is going to inspire me to start cooking again....

I agree, Fou Zhou sucks! But, if you like it Brooke, I'm fine with that.
We used to go to Tai Yuet Lau in what is now the Pacific Market center in Rohnert Park. It's now called something else. China delight or something like that. We went there under the new name. Everything is the same! Love it!
You get alot of food for the $ you pay. Great for left-overs.

I was wondering about that place...
I'm not a fan of chinese food since I was pregnant, but if I have to eat it I like orange chicken with steamed rice. Hold the MSG...it gives me migraines....you know you can ask for food at most places now to make the food without the MSG? there are only a few things that it is premixed in with.

I went to New China by Coddingtown on Cleveland the other day with Fallon and Greg had warned me that he'd seen it come up on the health dept. list but it was late and we really wanted Chinese! Anyway I have to say the place was clean, very nice and the food was some of the best Chinese I've had in a while! We had egg rolls, soup, sweet/sour pork and almond chicken. It was fresh, the sweet and sour was crispy (I hate mush), the service was great and as far as I know, no bugs!!
I don't eat chinese food *barf* but Jr really likes it.

I love Panda Express' orange chicken.
There is a place in Petaluma with fabulous orange sesame chicken, it is called Dragon something over in that shopping center with Old Chicago accross the street from the duck pond on McDowell.
I love Panda Express' orange chicken.
I LOVE the panda express orange chicken! Maybe that's what we'll have for dinner tonight :)
When we get real chinese, we get it from Royal China in the Marlow/Piner shopping center. They are sooooo good. My fav dish is honey walnut prawns....soooooo yummy! I am trying not to let the cockroach thing deter me ;)

AAAHHHH!! This thread made me hungry for chineese. So I called the place we like but there was no answer..... so then I get sidetracked and reply to Becky's comment... then I think.. humm - I better make sure Soo Yuan is clean. So I pull their report and UUGHHHH it's been shut down for a "vermin infestation". Gross.
So I checked Yinkeng and they have a bunch of violations too. The one that really gets me is "food handler failed to wash hands". There's just no excuse.
So does anyone have a chineese place that is "clean"?
Royal china just had possible contamination of food...no vermin or handwashing issues...I don't think they deliver tho.
thanks for sharing lynette. THAT is why i don't eat chinese food :lol That and the cats they cook :giggle just kidding, i know that wasn't PC

Mmmm... we used to live right near them. They are yummy. We considered driving to SR to it, but decided on homemade barritos instead.

Crazy! :)
We actually tried China Delight recently and liked it too, I had Chicken with Black Bean Sauce and Salina had the vegetable chow mein. It was pretty good and their rating on that health site wasn't bad....especially compared to all the other's, blech!
